We have traveled extensively and have stayed in a range of accommodations from luxury hotels to B&B's. We can honestly say that our stay at B&B Merida Santiago ticked all the boxes. The quiet street (rare in downtown), the lovely, well-maintained and colorful environment, the spacious, comfortable, air-conditioned rooms, the large refreshing pool and the unsurpassed service of the owners,...

We only stayed for a couple of nights, but we had a great experience. The room was big and very clean, and included all that anybody would need and more. Our room had a big jacuzzi that we did not get to use, and a nice shower. Apart from the nice rooms, the hosts (Jan and Rita) are extremely nice...

We stayed for four nights at B&B Merida Santiago in the middle of February. Jan is a great host and made our family feel welcome from the moment we rang the doorbell. He gave great recommendations and really went out of our way to make our stay wonderful. For example, our young daughters noticed hooks in the walls for hammocks...

It was our first trip to Merida.......and the density and energy (lots of cars and pedestrians) of the Old Historical District can be a bit intimidating. But, once we arrived at the Hotel Merida Santiago it all changed......we entered the the hotel grounds and there before us was a beautiful and well designed oasis. The colors.....the landscaping....all so peaceful. And,...

We had a wonderful one week holiday at the Merida Santiago B and B. The room was spacious and comfortable, well designed and beautifully decorated. We loved the whirlpool bath and shower in our suite. Refrigerator, climate control, bed, breakfasts....all better than at the four star hotels we stayed in in Mexico City and San Miguel. But the real treasure...

We stayed at this B&B for 3 nights in January. The location of the B&B is perfect. It's on a quiet side street with very little traffic, but within easy walking distance of the central district of Merida. It is also an easy walk to the Paseo de Montejo, and the CAME bus terminal (in the event you are traveling...
