My 12-year-old daughter and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in March 2017 and both enjoyed our stay. The owners, Rita and Jan, are lovely people who made us feel very welcome. Jan was there to greet us in the main reception when we arrived at 10.30pm and was also up to say goodbye at 5am on the...

Possibly the best hotel of its type we have ever stayed in, and certainly the best hotel during our month long travels around Mexico. The hotel and gardens are beautiful and there is so much care and attention to detail everywhere. It is such a special touch to offer a complimentary early evening drink of (really nice) white wine or...

We were really impressed by this place, in fact it is probably the best small hotel we have ever stayed in. The welcome was outstanding (easily the best during our stay in Mexico), the design and decor very attractive, the bedroom comfortable and large with great bathroom and the food was excellent. We really liked the complimentary drinks in the...

Last January in visit to Merida - Yucatan - Mexico, we had very nice days at the Merida Santiago hotel. A very cozy boutique hotel, with great location, suits well furnished and decorated. But the differential is the reception and attention given by the owners Rita and Ian and the staff. Do not miss the happy hour offered by them....

We stayed at this hotel thanks to the good Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed, it was great! From the outside the hotel seems very small and a bit old but once you cross the door you find a different world inside. A stunning common area with a beautiful pool, colourful houses and big modern rooms. Everything we could have...

To repeat the previous reviewer's title - "fantastic and relaxing". Everything about this hotel/b&b is perfect. Jan and Rita are great hosts and are always more than willing to give ideas on what to do in Merida and the surrounding area. Also, both are very interesting, with business backgrounds and experience in Holland and Merida. The rooms were excellent -...

We've stayed 4 nights here, and loved it. Jan, Rita & co have been so welcoming and helpful - especially Anna and Mauricio. They recommended great restaurants (Apoala & Oliva Enoteca), and provided a lovely relaxing atmosphere - happy hour, snacks, nice chat. Our room was fantastic - spacious, walk-in shower, balcony; and so quiet at night. The pool is...

I agree with all the other excellent reviews. The hosts and staff could not be nicer or more helpful. Breakfasts were delicious. The pool was fabulous to take a dip in after walking around town. Merida on Sunday is so much fun. Merida is hot and a walking town so be prepared.

And those two thumbs would be the amiable owners Jan and Reta. Their hotel is what I call a "hybrid" in that it is small and personable like a B&B, but has amenities and services like a hotel. We primarily chose this place based on the positive TA reviews that consistently emphasized "service" and we weren't disappointed. Jan gave us...

Excellent location (10 min. walk to Plaza Grande). Superb, small scale boutique hotel. Rita, Jan and their staff are very friendly and do their utmost to ensure your perfect stay at the hotel. Exceptional room quality and styling details. We loved the breakfast, they offer several options to choose from. We got complimentary drinks at the bar and in the...
