After driving all day from Tulum, our B&B was a welcome site! It is about 8-10 blocks outside of the city center, but it worked out perfect. They have off street parking for your car at night, and street parking in front during the day. The courtyard is absolutely charming, the rooms large and nicely decorated. The staff is very...

Incredibly beautiful and sympathetically renovated colonial house with attentive and helpful staff. It was a delight to wake every morning and open the door of my bedroom, beautifully furnished with elegant antiques, and step out into the columned courtyard with the pool, waterfall and palm trees. The owners of the hotel (Jose and Nidia) treat every guest like a member...

A beautifully decorated, comfortable, family-run hotel outside the main tourist district – about 20 minutes walk into the main plaza. Each of the large double rooms is furnished according to a theme and is an absolute visual delight. However, the same things that make it so visually attractive also contribute to its drawbacks. The lovely ceramic tiling and layout around...

The Casa is a gem of a B&B in the midst of Merida, an easy walk to historic sites, cafes, churches, museums and shops. The sidewalks near the hotel are being repaired -which makes for quite a mess- but still it is easy to walk around (just pay attention). The hotel's staff were super-friendly and helpful, the room comfortable, clean...

We ended up at "Casa de Las Columnas" after a nigthmare in another Hotel in Merdida and thank God this Hotel was the best place in Merida. It's an old Colonial House with only a few rooms 13 or 15 something like that. Each room is totally different. The decoration is unique and beautiful. We stayed at "Frida Kalo" room....

I seriously dont know were to start! This hotel is BEAUTIFUL, very good location, very clean, very small and private, very comfortable, very well priced. Too be honest it seriously feels like you are staying with family. The staff was so polite and very helpful with anything we may have needed or wanted. They gave us directions, hooked us up...

We've been to Merida 3 times now and this has been by far the best place to stay. Family owned and operated and with an incredible staff, the hotel is located on a main but quiet street between downtown and a few blocks from a main avenue that will take you outside of Merida in a few minutes. Inside you'll...

A little difficult to find. It is on the most important street and close to the main square and other attractions, but nice and quiet. The sign is rather understated so we probably drove past a few times before we found it. What a little gem! The owners have gone over every square inch with incredible attention to detail. Each...

We were at Casa de las Columnas for 4 nights. It is a small hotel (only 11 rooms), 9 blocks from the main Plaza. Each room is different, decorated with antique furniture with all the modern amenities you need and colorful drapes. The ownners are very friendly as well as all their staff, they are always checking if there is...
