We met Steven when we were in Isla planning our wedding. We stayed at Casa Sirena and fell in love. You won't find a better place for a HH and receive fabulous recommendations from Steven on places to eat and things to do during your stay. Everything from the delicious breakfast to the comfortable and wonderfully decorated rooms is first...

We love hosting events Casa Sirena. Our rooftop terrace with sea and sunset views is one of the most unique venues on the island. It was a pleasure to help make your wedding memorable for both you and your guests.

The Halloween "Haunted Happy Hour" is one of the most interesting parties of the year. It is unfortunate that I cannot post a photo here of the hotel guests celebrating in their Day of the Dead face paint and costumes...

I was lucky enough to spend 3 fabulous nights at this incredible little hideaway hotel on Isla Mujeres and let me assure you - it will not be the last time! Steve is gracious and very attentive to his guests' needs. The island itself is gorgeous, the locals are friendly and the views are spectacular but the experience at Casa...

I fell in love with this gorgeous little island on my first visit over 25 years ago. It has been a dream come true to live here for the past 10 years and share the simple pleasures of Isla Mujeres with guests from all over the world at Casa Sirena. We look forward to seeing you again!

Our third stay with Steve and the outstanding staff at Casa Sirena. Rooms are immaculate with thoughtful touches such as a small refrigerator stocked with cold water and beer, beach towels and tote, bedside tables with reading lamps, in room safe, drinking water just outside the door, and more. Steve has created a welcoming place that attracts guests from around...

Thanks for taking time to write this review! I love my little hotel and the people who come to visit. Glad you enjoy my favorite touches like the Tiffany-style bedside reading lamps and the conversation with fellow travelers at the "Sunset for the Fun Set" happy hour!

This place is beyond description. We had amazing experience staying at Casa Sirena for 7 days and is certainly a home away from home and my favorite place to stay. It is super clean, rooms are beautifully decorated, breakfast is fantastic and Steve, the host, is awesome! If you are looking for a nice and mellow atmosphere, a place to...

Steve is such a great host! From breakfast to happy hour, everything is always awesome! The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are cleaned daily, above and beyond what you might expect. Weve been to the island 13 or 14 times. This is the 2nd time we've stayed here (As Steve put it, we like to sleep around,...

We aren't all that jealous when our regular guests "sleep around" in other accommodations on the island. There are lots of great neighborhoods to explore, from North beach to south point. But we always try to entice these wayward guests back with a Repeat Guest discount and extra happy hour margaritas.

Highlights - The room was clean. Art is everywhere. Steve is beyond hospitable (could write a 5 page review just on him alone). His staff is friendly. Breakfasts are super delicious. One of the most overlooked activities on Isla Mujeres is the summertime turtle nesting season. We provide maps to our guests showing the best beaches to see these amazing creatures emerge from the sea and lay their eggs by moonlight. Sometimes, our guests are invited by the conservation staff to help collect the eggs (they feel kind of like fragile...

The complimentary "Sunset for the Fun Set" happy hour at Casa Sirena is often the highlight of the day for both the guests and the Innkeeper. The cocktails and conversation flow freely, creating a unique opportunity to enjoy the comaraderie of fellow travelers (and swap restaurant reviews!)

One of the wonderful things about Casa Sirena is that Steve never changes the parts that make the place great, but does constantly tweak around the edges to find ways to make this special place just that much more special. From Turkish beach towels (lighter and collect less sand than the lovely blue ones) to special events at happy hour...

We strive to find little ways to surprise our repeat guests. I am delighted you enjoyed the new "Happy Hour Artist Series" magic show and the rotating schedule of local musicians who perform for drinks and tips (Casa Sirena provides the drinks...) Just wait until you see the huge new mermaid mural in the rooftop bar!

"Sunset for the Fun Set" is the theme of our complimentary happy hour. Guests gather for refreshing margaritas and snacks to swap stories of the days' adventures and reviews of last night's restaurants. Our private rooftop bar is unique in Isla Mujeres!
