Nice, clean, family owned hotel in the middle of town. Only one drawback, no pool, but close enough to the beach to walk! We had a first floor room with a small kitchen. Owners are very nice and accomodating, price is very reasonable, we would go back again

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bucaneros! It was extremely clean and in the heart of downtown and convenient to everything. The only thing that sucked was the wifi. It never worked in our room. At times we would have hot water and other times it would be scorching. We still enjoyed our stay as we barely used the room...

Clean, pleasant hotel right in the middle of Isla street action provided a convenient location, hot showers, and good air conditioning. The bed was comfy and the breakfast pleasant. There was a colonial feel to the high ceilings and the architecture, but nicely updated for comfort. I enjoyed my time here.

We booked on tripadvisor but when we arrived they had no record of that. The guy was pretty good about that-he just used the details from my confirmation email to charge us the same amount. The room was tiny-there was a double bed jammed between the wall and a huge concrete pillar. The ceiling fan was too noisy to use,...

My wife and I have been to the Cancun, Cozumel, Riviera Maya area at least 40 times. We have stayed in the mega resorts and smaller boutique hotels. We have made many day trips Isla Mujeres, but this is our first time staying on the island. Before I go into the specifics, let me summarize this hotel first. AMAZING, SPOTLESS,...

Found this little place during our visit to Isla Murejes. Room was clean, staff friendly. They even have a friendly puppy to welcome you! The back courtyard area was a mess, but has potential. Would have been nice if it was all cleaned up :( Would recommend if staying a night or two. The hotel is on the pedestrian street,...

I had a wonderful experience here. I am a solo female traveler and they accomodated my request for a room on a higher floor. I felt very safe. The staff was wonderful. In particular, Jesus went out of his way to answer my questions and help me out. It is not high-end, but was very clean, comfortable, w/ A/C and...

Just returned from a first time visit to Isla Mujeres and definitely will be returning! We loved the island and our stay at Hotel Bucaneros. We stayed 8 nights in 3 different rooms as we booked late. Not a problem though as we were able to check out rooms 001, 102 and 301. All were clean and nicely decorated. Our...

Fantastic no-frills but charming hotel with an amazing location on Hidalgo Ave., literally in the heart of the action. Easy to find, walked there from the ferry with suitcases in tow, took us a few easy minutes. Make sure to get a suite room (001, 002 or 301). They are spacious, tasteful and comfortable with great air conditioning. Great if...

I picked Hotel Bucaneros because of the good reviews on this site and as usual, they were spot on. We were looking for accommodations that were clean, affordable, centrally located and not too big or fancy. Bucaneros met all these criteria and more. We had a room with a double bed on the third floor. It was small but big...
