At VLB they welcomed us with open arms, then gave us lots of breathing room. We were happy in a poolside room our first night, then smitten when we moved to the honeymoon suite. Cheery surroundings, gorgeous views and you’re tucked away from the world…. Taxis are easy to find and affordable; we were happy to be mid-island. The pool...

This review is long overdue but better late than never. My partner and I stayed here for a week over the New Year's holiday 09-10. We stayed in both the palapa suite and the honeymoon suite. It was a fantastic experience that I hope to repeat again and again. It lives up to the wealth of positive reviews I read...

We got luck and stayed here without reservations. We had driven by this place many times, and thought it was very cute and attractive from the road. Then, when we actually thought we'd stay there, we got lucky (must have been low season, huh?). Anyway, we got a wonderful room on the second floor with views of the ocean, and...

We were very pleased with our choice of B&B. Ashley and Curtis were wonderful hosts and the setting is idyllic. Rooms were spacious and the bed comfortable. The bar/pool area is lovely and I particularly loved the swings around the bar. We ate take-away tacos both nights and it was lovely not to have to go out as we had...

Villa la Bella was all that we anticipated and more. Ashley and Curtis were extremely helpful and easy to talk to. We loved getting to relax and just be. We stayed in one of the open air palapas - beautiful views of the ocean, and lots of room, and a constant breeze (absolutely no need for AC), and the swinging...

We've stayed at Villa La Bella two years in a row and would not even consider staying anywhere else on the island. My wife and I swore we would go to a different place every time we went to Mexico and for the first three years we managed to do that. But on the third trip we found and fell...

My husband and I just returned from staying at VLB for 6 nights and all the reviews are true! Ashley and Curtis are the kindest, nicest hosts! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left(at 5am I must add)Ashley and Curtis were there to make sure all of our needs were met. The B&B is perfect because it...

We had an amazing stay at Villa La Bella. It was the last four days of our honeymoon and we really enjoyed the peace and tranquillity. Isla Mujeres is a very nice island, but our main reason for picking Villa La Bella was to spend a few days enjoying ourselves relaxing by the pool and sipping cocktails at the end...

Our stay at Villa la Bella was exactly what we needed. Ashley and Curtis could not have been more welcoming, entertaining, and helpful . Our stay was just not long enough, but we were so grateful to have had the opportunity to discover this gem. It was peaceful, intimate, and beautiful, The breakfast were excellent—our only complaint: the portions were...

I am so impressed with Villa La Bella. Our room was the front Palapa suite and had the most wonderful breezes at all times. I slept the best I have ever with the sound of the ocean and the gentle breeze that swept across the bed. Curtis and Ashely are the most gracious hosts ever!! We arrived on a sailboat...

Guests were just snorkeling off our beach about a week ago, but the water has been quite rough lately. Our beach is definitely dependent on the weather. Winter months are generally rougher as we're right on the open Caribbean. The winter beach is not a large sandy one like it is in the spring and summer months when the turtles lay their eggs, however, there are sandy parts, great tidal pools for wading and large rocks for sunning, and incredible shelling and adventuring. We'll be more than happy to mark other great beach locations for swimming and snorkeling that are close by. Nothing is more than 2.5 miles from us. One of the biggest advantages of our beach is that it is seldom crowded and makes a gorgeous backdrop for relaxing at our villa.

We have plenty of parking for golf carts and taxis are readily available as well. Parking is available all over Isla. We'll fill you in on where not to park should you choose to vacation at our villa. Happy new year!

Breakfast is served Tuesday through Sunday from 8:30- 10 AM. We have several places that deliver for guests who don't want to venture out and several restaurants (Mango's, Monolita's, Caribbean Brisas just to name a few) are within a few speedbumps walk. Salud!

People were just snorkeling last weekend off our beach, and Curtis enjoys SUP from our beach as well as a few other locations around the island. Our beach is definitely a beach that is dependent on the weather as it's the open ocean. The pathway to the beach is natural. One of the biggest advantages of our beach is that it is seldom crowded and makes a gorgeous backdrop for relaxing at our villa.
