This was our 1st trip to Isla and Mia Reef definitely not our last. Beautiful island and Mia Reef location off Playa Norte can't be beat. Booked a villa overlooking the kings bath (natural pool). We had our 3 year old daughter with us so...More

So I visited at the end of May and was really impressed. The reason you come to the North side of Isla Mujeres is for the beach and having all you can eat options at your finger tips was a plus for me! I've been...More

There are a lot of transfer companies to choose from but we usually pre-book a private shuttle thru USA Transfers. I've found them to be cheaper than some companies and always very reliable. You need to pre-book but they will meet you at the airport with a USA Transfers sign and escort you to your private van. The van will take you to the Puerto Juarez ferry dock (about a 30 to 40 minute drive). You can buy your ferry tickets right at the dock and then it is about a 20 minute ferry ride across to Isla Mujeres. Lots of people there to help you and a cab will be readily available to take you to the hotel. It is only about a 5 minute cab ride from the ferry dock to the hotel. If money is an issue you can also opt for a pre-booked shared transfer to the ferry dock but you may end up having to drop a lot of people off on the way.
