I am just checking out from our five night stay at this wonderful hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable and have sleeping for many guests. We stayed in the Penthouse which has a spectacular view of the Ocean but one of the smallest patios. It also does not have lounge chairs or a hammock. It has a table and...

Quiet, with superlative views available from the balconies of 14 rooms, attended by a gracious , knowledgeable and english speaking staff this small hotel is well worth an extended stay. After 11 days in March 2017 we were sad to leave. The free continental breakfast was fresh and satisfying as were the meals available from the small restaurant for lunch...

Romantic getaway. Private balcony with hammock and chairs and great views...appreciated being delivered included breakfast but toast underdone and would have liked variety.. much preferred this to the hustle and bustle of the other end...and easy to get to town action when desired...but enough great places nearby...so we stayed here whole time. but we never ate in restaurant here....atmosphere didn't...

Woderful place in a very peaceful spot of the island. You will enjoy the view from your room and from the terrace with ocean view. Very good service! Just maybe the rooms are not 4 stars hotel but you will enjoy most the rest!

I could give this little gem even more stars. I've stayed here a few times. It's a quaint little boutique hotel with and amazing view and super sweet staff. If your looking for a 4 seasons or all inclusive hotel this might not be for you. It's my all time favorite hotel here. Hammocks on every balcony. So relaxing

My husband and I came here for a romantic getaway. A friend had recommended this hotel, and we are so glad she did! Our room had a private balcony with rocking chairs, a hammock, and an unbeatable water view! We also enjoyed exploring the small private beach behind the hotel, and my husband rented snorkeling gear on site for a...

Simple basic rooms (12) with Mexican feel. Very clean, nice views of ocean, friendly - helpful staff. Nice to have a small fridge in the room. Food in the restaurant was good but it closed around 7. Breakfast was served on our balcony, nice treat. We agree with other comments about the lack of variety in the continental breakfasts. One...

I fell in love with this hotel the moment I arrived! The location couldn't be better. All the rooms are facing the beautiful sea and our room was by the swimming pool. The furniture inside (bed, wardrobe, fridge and desk) is quite old but the room is quite big and the bathroom new and everything is very clean. The breakfast...

We traveled with our 9 yr. old daughter and we stayed in the family room (living room and bedroom, kitchen area with a coffeemaker and gas top. The only minus was the breakfast. The included breakfast is only toast, very basic preserve, coffee and juice. If you prefer a more substantial breakfast, it is only available after 9am and often...

What a wonderful stay we had at La Joya and look forward to our visit next year. The staff was so accommodating, helpful and friendly. The manager (he told my wife his name was Oscar) was the best! He took care of any of our needs and always made sure we were happy. This also goes for the kitchen, grounds...
