I think the one thing that is most helpful to know when researching this property is that it is a hotel with a motel quality when it comes to cleanliness and attentiveness by the staff. It's not a bad thing, it's just what you are going to get. The proximity to the beach is incredible, but there are quite a...

This hotel is a minute walk to playa Norte at most. The location is excellent. The room is pretty basic. My biggest complaint is the shower head needs a dip in CLR, the water can go from scorching to cold to non existent. The bed is a little hard for my comfort and you aren't suppose to flush the toilet...

If I could give this 3.5 I would. We booked a last minute trip and this was one of the few hotels available close to Playa norte. we split our stay between a cabana room and a tower room. The cabana rooms are larger but are only double beds - the patios on the 2nd floor are large with table...

The hotel was nice and quiet and by the beach. They offered a simple breakfast every morning that was coffee, juice and toast. The service was good and prompt. The beach was quieter than most other North beaches we walked past. The North beach is very busy and definitely the place where tourists go. I would suggest if you want...

We were late in making reservations and they found a place for us. It was clean, comfortable, cool, and the staff was excellent. We have stayed here before and will be back. For $67.00 per night, we were well satisfied. We were in Isla to fish and fancy surroundings were not a must. But, had they been, this hotel has...

So on the good side the rooms were clean, maids did a fantastic job. Please make sure you tip them daily, the only nice staff at this hotel. Great location for the beach. But not great for going out at night. So that is it for the good. So let's start with the bar restaurant, the absolute worst service on...

We stayed in the castle section, room #10. The room is huge with a very comfortable king sized bed. The ac was excellent! We were able to connect to Buhos Wi-Fi from our balcony. We also connected by the pool. All of the staff from the front desk to housekeeping staff were friendly and easy to work with. (Guess it's...

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Like previous posters said...you get what you pay for Pros: near best beach(es) in IM or all of Mexico IMO. El Centro is fun and easy access. good food, fun to interact with locals (use my poor Spanish), and felt safe. Cons: no beach towels.. bring your own. no wash clothes or...

We will never stay here again. There iS no Wifi except by the pool( and that doesn't even work half the time) the room was musty and old, and The front desk customer service was terrible. The two women that checked us in were extremely rude. If we had known of anything better before choosing this place we would of...

First of all; Isla Mujeres was not as we expected. Basically there is only one strip of beautiful beach and all the rest is a touristy mess with bad smell and bars to get drunk. (which seems the major fun in the Island). Said so, the hotel is Price/quality ratio. I don't understand the bad criticism. You get what you...
