This specialty hotel is wonderful. There are 4 units; 3 have 2 double beds and 1 has a double bed only. My friend from work and I had a 2 double bed room, bathroom with a toilet that worked all the time and a hot shower with water pressure !! The room also had a small fridge and coffee maker...

About Rooms 1 and 4... Very different. They were both clean, had hip decoration and plenty of charm. Room 1, I preferred because of the patio where I read and drank coffee in the morning or beer/tequila with a snack in the afternoon. It is multi-level as well, which has a nice feel. When I'm in a warm place, my...

great staff. beautiful rooms and very convenient to everything while also being out of the hubbub of the main street of restaurants and late night bars. i stayed a week. the pool in the photos is actually just a dipping pool - i never saw anyone use it - but it's a nice idea if it's hot and you don't...

The rooms were huge and a great deal for the price. The mini fridge was stocked with complimentary beer and tequla. The bathrooms were kind of small, but clean. Daily maid service did a nice job. Officially, the internet only works in common areas, but we were in Room 1 off the courtyard and we were able to get internet...

This is near everything. We walked to restaurants, and really enjoyed the beach club at Na Balam, even better than Zama. Jill helped us find it. She also was so gracious to store our bags in her office after we checked out so we could enjoy the afternoon. Her friend Mariel arranged a golf cart and a tour to Island...

We stayed at Casa el Pio from Dec. 29, 2012thru Jan 10, 2013. The hotel is tucked just 1/2 block from the town square, but is a world away from the noise and activity of the island. Step thru the front gate, and you are surrounded by the tranquility of a lush tropical garden. Palms frame the walkway, and oleander...

When I wrote 'centrally located', you may have thought 'loud'. Wrong. This place is set away from the street so that theres a lovely cold pool and outdoor sitting area that it quiet and quaint. We loved this place! There were 4 of us, and there was plenty of space for us with 2 beds, a perfect space for playing...

We blindly took a recommendation for Casa el Pio from friends and found the perfect space for us. Our room was everything that anyone would need on an island holiday. Clean, spacious, and refreshing. We woke every morning to the sound of the sea and a stunning view. The room was so peaceful it was sometimes hard to leave. The...

This was the first time for my wife and I on Isla Mujeres and staying at Casa El Pio. We found El Pio on TA and had friends who stayed at the hotel before and raved about it. We were there for four nights. The first thing that needs to be talked about when you are thinking about Casa El...

I just spent 4 nights in this small hotel (only 4 rooms). Nov 2012 The rooms are really spacious with a living room space and a bedroom. The rooms also have a fridge, safe, air-con and coffee making facilities. The beds are extremely comfortable and the decor is boutique style with hipstamatic type photos on the walls. I liked the...
