I really enjoyed staying at Alicia's B&B. I was there for 3 weeks at the end of Feb to the beginning of March. Alicia and Chuco were very good at giving one the lay of the land. There is a big grocery store that is very close by if you need some groceries. The local restaurants are reasonable and tasty....

Your authentic Mayan breakfast will be prepared by your Mayan host, Chuco, at your request between 6:30 (perfect to catch that early dive) and 9:30 (great if you're the party-late and sleep in person). Breakfast varies from a delicious Mayan egg dish or omelets to fresh empanadas from a local vendor. We can also accomodate many other requests, such as...

Alicia's B&B definitely gets you out of the touristy area of Cozumel. She's quite helpful and her and Chuco - and everyone else there - are very friendly, nice people. I only stayed one night - arrived late afternoon and was off diving the next morning, so did not spend a lot of time there (or in Cozumel for that...

Thanks from everybody at the B&B. We try and give you individual service and hope that you will come back again soon. Glad you enjoyed Chuco's eggs. He can make them hot if you like hot. Not often a guest can beat Chuco in that dept. Travel safe and hopefully you will come again.

I may go overboard with this review, but Alicia, Chuco and Orlando and Alicia's Bed and breakfast in particular, were the right people, the right place to provide us phenomenal hospitality and service. My daughter decided to compete in the Cozumel Ironman 70.3 about a month before the event. She asked me to help with her logistics and to serve...

Thank you very much Dave for your kind words. Chuck does like to cook for ironmen/women in this case. They eat a lot and enjoy their breakfasts. So proud that our ironwoman placed third in the women's division. Real pro Carrie. I'm so happy you enjoyed your short stay in cozumel. We are looking forward to your return trip to...

I really enjoyed our stay at Alicia's. Super friendly & helpful. Very nice people. Excellent breakfast every morning. The fresh fruit and guacamole & chips are available every morning. They are fantastic. That alone is filling but then Chuco makes something special in addition to these. Good location. You will need to catch a taxi when arriving and departing, but...

Staying at Alicia's made it easy for us rub elbows & experience places in town where locals go. We woke each day from a queen bed in one of four comfy rooms Alicia & Chuco offer. Anytime after 6:30 to 9:30 AM guests saunter into the dining room in Alicia and Chuco's home for fresh fruit & good coffee prepared...

The sun in Cozumel hot but the ambiance at Alicia's B&B is very cool. I think there are four apartments here, we are taking three of them. Each has a queen bed, private bath, A/C, ceiling and floor fans. Since this is an island, the humidity is high and the apartments can stay warm at night. During the day there...

My husband and I stayed at Alicia's bed and breakfast for 4 nights. We had a good time. This place is a great bargain. It has everything you need and nothing you don't. Chuco and Alicia are very friendly and welcoming. The family style breakfast is filling and healthy. You will get to meet other guests at the large family...

My first stay at Alicia's was 15 years ago and I have returned at least 10 more times by myself, with family and with friends. We all love this place! It's hard to even know where to begin my review. First of all: it's located in the heart of Cozumel's neighborhood. If you want to experience true, Mayan culture, this...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Alicia's Bed and Breakfast is located in the middle of San Miguel on the island of Cozumel. We are located in a neighborhood that has many restaurants, stores including Sam's Club a few blocks away. Wal-Mart or the Mex. version is there as well. Chuco cooks a fresh breakfast everyday which includes fruits in season and a full breakfast which includes egg dishes, and waffles, french toast, and some local favorites. We have a dog that loves guests but keeps out non-guests. There is a biological park located about 5 blocks away. We are handy to any beaches either on the east or west side. Chuco and Orlando are both very good at answering any dive guestions. Orlando is a dive master and knows all the great places to dive. Chuco was a dive captain for many years. ... more   less
