I stayed two nights and this hotel has a great location, close to centrum. The price was also great. But, the hotel is a bit rundown, and I chose a room with only a ceiling fan. The fan worked so-so, with only 3 speeds of the original 5 working, and they were all a bit too fast and noisy for... More

I have been living here now for two weeks and have not had any experiences that might suggest this is not the best place to stay in Cozumel. Two blocks away from my favorite restaurant, two hundred steps from the best coffee in Mexico (fresh daily roasted coffee from Chiapas, three hundred step from the newly designed Town Square and... Don't expect a resort, not at this price level. What you get is a nice, family run, clean every day hotel room as you would find along any interstate in the USA. If you came to Cozumel for the other attractions and not to spend your time in a hotel, we recommend it. It's a great value.

Good description makes our service, very honest. Is important to us that clarifies that it is not a 5 star hotel, the EDEM is a very economical and clean Posada hotel, its rooms are simple to sleep and bathe, it is not to be enjoying the attention, service and comfort of the hotel, we serve you amicably and we can... This was a great location, with friendly, helpful and hospitable employees. We rented a scooter next door and cruised around the island. The prices are very reasonable for staying here and so much more worth it! The amenities are simple, but I slept wonderfully here. Also, the whole vecinity is smoke-free, which was a definite plus. FIltered water and wifi... More

We checked hostels close by but we're looking for private room. We got a room with bathroom and a fan for 7 USD a night! Shower is not working well but rooms are clean and you can't get any cheaper! Centre and ferry terminal are in 5 mins walking distance!

This hotel is pretty basic. They have a friendly cat and a turtle pool in the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a light bulb blow in our room they fixed it in 5 minutes. The beds and bathrooms and confortable and clean. It is a budget hotel for cozumel.

Thanks for your comment, us helps a lot so that people consider him as a hotel to bathe and sleep, is basic and it is not to enjoy the day at the hotel, it is clean and comfortable sleeping. Happy new year. More

We've been travelling for 7 months and have been in dorm beds for most of our travels. Then we found this place which was even cheaper than a dorm and we couldn't believe it! Nice double bed, en-suite, fan, hot shower, secure, perfect location, and its quiet! What more do you want for that price. The staff are lovely as... More

This was the most inexpensive place we could find on the island. It's very basic, but it is cheap. It was a little bit run down, but generally clean and present. There we wires sticking out of the wall (obviously where a tv had been). Cold showers, but as I said, it's cheap!

Booked this hotel based on the reviews on here. Honestly, yes it's super cheap and yes you get what you pay for.
