We were only here for 1 day because we were visiting Chichén Itzá but can’t wait to come back to this hotel. All the staff was wonderful and the restaurant was amazing. The feel of this spot is indescribable-you have to come and experience for your self. Highly recommended.

On the way to Chichen Itza they lie to your face saying that the price they charge you is the same as in the main entrance, that the main entrance there are 50 minute lines to get a ticket and that the parking lot is over crowded and dangerous. In reality what they hide that

You seem to be the liar sir. We have been in business for a century; we would not be if we misrepresented ourselves. As you can attest from every single comment on the thousands posted on this and other online venues, no one has accused us of misrepresentation. Sad. Very sad that you choose to attempt to discredit our Historic Resort.

At first I thought we were scammed but honestly, it was worth every penny. We stopped by the highway and some sales rep sold us tickets to another entrance to Chichen Itzá. We paid $50 for two and it included a buffet (without drinks, but we took our own water), entrance to a

What is the price for chi Chen itza entrance for kids under 11, or do they pay regular price?
Sorry, I don't know, as we were a group of 3 adults. But, the prices, in general, were very reasonable. The price of a guided tour with a very knowledgable guide was just $80 for the 3 of us for 3 hours. I would strongly recommend staying at the Mayaland Hotel, so you can enter the site in the early morning. (You can walk right into the site in 5 minutes.) The heat is pretty brutal at mid-day, and it's best to complete your tour before 11:00 am or so. We felt sorry for the people just arriving at 10am or 11am by tour bus. Brutal heat.

"A bungalow away from the main building"
"For accessibility, book Chichen rooms. All of the bungalows are central to dining, etc, and feel romantic and peaceful."
"I've loved staying in the hotel upper rooms and the bungalows. Get either and you'll be pleased as there is just so much to see."
"My favorite is rooms with a view of the ruins, but they can get noisy downstairs early in the AM. If you sleep in, maybe a bungalow?"
