What a pleasure it will be to review this hotel. I had slept at a little hotel in Tulum the night before and wasn’t too pleased with the experience.

This is another one of many hotels that are not necessarily fancy and over the top, but the rooms are very clean, we had a good bed, friendly staff, lovely pool, beautiful gardens and away from the main city and ruins. 20 pesos gets you...More
We stayed here after visiting chitzen itza, the location is really convenient as a ten minute shuttle drops you and picks you up from the ruins. Food is also served which is very convenient as there is nothing else nearby! The rooms are comfortable enough,...More

Location perfect! Directly across the street from Cenote Ik Kil and just 4 minute drive from Chichén Itzá. This made both of those visits much more pleasant because we were able to beat the big tour bus rush at both sites.

Enchanting hotel in the best location of Chichen Itza. Beautiful bungalows with private terraces, air conditioning, cable tv, safe box, and local handcrafts. Extensive gardens with two swimming pools, …Moreone with unique reef formations and spectacular bottom, two palapas with hammocks for relaxation. Large, guarded parking lot. Restaurant Bar overlooking circular pool with the best food for the gods. Walk to Ikil cenote for a refreshing swim or to the Balankanche caves for underground adventure. Less

I took the Oreinte bus from downtown Cancun to the Dolores Alba in Chichen Itza. You can take the ADO bus from the airport to the downtown bus terminal. Just walk out of the terminal and you'll see a stand where the buses are pulling in. It should say ADO. You can buy a ticket downtown from there.
Oriente is 2nd class.
ADO is 1st class.
Both schedules are available on-line.
Read the thread I started in the Trip Advisor Cancun Forum on June 29, 2015.
You might also want to poke around the Cancun Forum site for other ideas. For example, car rental is also an option. I find the Forums very helpful.
Also read the review I posted on June 29 of the Dolores Alba.
Good luck. Have a safe trip.
