Very handy for an overnight stay ready for an early morning visit to Chichen Itza. Small rooms with rather noisy aircon (but at least there was aircon!) and thin curtains (didn’t keep out enough light for me), but there was an attractive looking pool beside the dining area and

If you are visiting Chichen itza this hotel is really convenient. We stayed for 3 nights. Our room was clean & comfortable, they changed the towels and cleaned the room daily. There is a restaurant that serves breakfast: fruit, scrambled eggs and ham, bread & jam and sometimes

This is another one of many hotels that are not necessarily fancy and over the top, but the rooms are very clean, we had a good bed, friendly staff, lovely pool, beautiful gardens and away from the main city and ruins. 20 pesos gets you into town and the ruins. But, this is a

Nannette: I took the Oreinte bus from downtown Cancun to the Dolores Alba in Chichen Itza. You can take the ADO bus from the airport to the downtown bus terminal. Just walk out of the terminal and you'll see a stand where the buses are pulling in. It should say ADO. You can buy a ticket downtown from there. Oriente is 2nd class. ADO is 1st class. Both schedules are available on-line. Read the thread I started in the Trip Advisor Cancun Forum on June 29, 2015. You might also want to poke around the Cancun Forum site for other ideas. For example, car rental is also an option. I find the Forums very helpful. Also read the review I posted on June 29 of the Dolores Alba. Good luck. Have a safe trip. Mike

Saludos.

"Get a room furthest from the main road if possible as there’s a bit of truck noise."
"All rooms are great but if you don't mind a little noise, the rooms in front of the pool offer a nice view."
"Away from the pool and restaurant"
"ask for rooms from number 1 to 18, you are in front of an amazing pool!!"
"All rooms are equally far from the giway. Get a room on the restaruant/pool side"
