Lucio Kavil and Isaac in the Magnus made our day. They were always there for breakfast and lunch. Lucio is so upbeat. He truly looks like he enjoys his job. Roberto at the swim up bar also made our trip enjoyable. Rooms were clean and if anything needed fixing it was done immediately. Not impressed with Le Maison de Michelle....

Great hotel, exceeded all expectations. Room was lovely, view was beautiful (lagoon side) and the service top notch. Make sure you have a drink in the adult's only pool behind Atlantis, Fernando the barman was an absolute legend - our drinks were never empty, and there was always a smile on his face.

My family of 4 traveled with 27 other people from our neighborhood from 3/18-3/25 and we had an absolutely fantastic time at the Great Parnassus! Our family has been to other all-inclusives in Playa Del Carmen (Riu Tequila and Riu Playacar) as well as the Barcelo Palace in Puertos Adventuras and while you don't get the spread out layout of...

Great Parnassus offers a great family all-inclusive vacation. My husband and I traveled with our son, daughter-in-law and two elementary school age grandsons. There are many restaurant choices with a good variety in menus, including an excellent food court plus a poolside snack and sandwich area. Best of all, no reservations are required. Most impressive are the people. Everyone on...

Stayed at the GP from March 16th to 23rd. First off, some of the following criticisms are legit. 1. Due to the design of the building, the entire hotel is one big echo chamber, sound really carries, from the slamming of the doors to the drunken shrieks of 20 year olds at 5 am. """"BRING EARPLUGS""""""" 2. The variety of...

My family includes kids aged 11, 12 and 14. To me the minimum requirements for a good vacation are good food, service and beach or pool. Food: For the most part, the food was very good. The hidden gem (on the opposite side of the hotel from all other restaurants) is the Mexican restaurant which is as good as any...

We had a good time at GP and I think most people would as long as they have the right expectations. I would say that the Great Parnassus is about 3-3.5 star resort with some definite plusses and minuses. Pros: Kids’ activities - kids’ club is great (especially for ages 4-8), lots of organized activities, great, hard-working staff, mini-golf and...

Last week we were at the Great Parnassus enjoying the sun. Today we're in Minnesota and school is cancelled due to a snow storm. Don't let any of the poor reviews stop you from enjoying a great hotel, staff and beach. Yes, the hotel needs some painting and some tiles are cracked but most people can see past this and...

Hotel is great for both kid's and adults. Hints: Get put on lower floors 1 or 2 on the north side, or you may have elevator wait times. If you don't have children upgrade to ocean view suite like my parents did, it is amazing. Tip a bit and they will pamper you. A couple of dollars a day to...
