This hotel is perfectly located on the lower end of hotel row, away from all the traffic and crazyness of the busy sections. Room are great. Service is better, the food and the cocktails maybe the best in Cancun. The only hesitation I have of ever staying here again is the smell of their otherwise amazing beach. Smells like sewer and it’s not pleasant. The pools are fantastic. If you’re okay with not swimming in the ocean, this is a great place.

My wife and I enjoyed our 29th anniversary in mid August. 6 beautiful days in a Penthouse suite with a lovely outdoor room/patio with our own plunge pool with views over the ocean. The room was large and comfortable, the bathroom with outdoor shower was magnificent. The food at all the restaurants (5) was excellent, we typically had breakfast in our room which was always on time and hot. We had the buffet once and it was also very good. Indochine was our favorite restaurant, the Peeking Duck was the best ever. Havanh room was also great for an evening drink and a cigar. Pools and poolside service are excellent. The staff across the entire resort are incredibly friendly, courteous and helpful. As others have mentioned, the beach isn't great with considerable seagrass, but the water is clean, clear and enjoyable. Spa is definitely worth a visit and take plenty of time to enjoy all the facilities. The resort, food and drinks aren't cheap, but its certainly all worth it for a truly relaxing vacation.

The previous reviews on this hotel had me a little concerned but I booked anyway, very happy I did! This property is beautiful and the staff absolutely wonderful. Our room was spacious and very clean with a great bathroom. I saw a comment on someone's room being to far away from the lobby... I strongly disagree with this being an issue. Golf carts run every 3-4 min 24hrs a day and you can easily walk anywhere on the property. The adults pool is beautiful though you do see and depending on the wind smell a little red tide. We mostly went to the family pool, it has a swim up bar, no red tide, and wow - the food here was shockingly tasty. We enjoyed Indochine (Asian) for dinner, Ni (Peruvian) for lunch (also a nice spot to doge a rain storm at noon), and we were told Ramona was amazing but didn't get the chance to make it. Dinner at La Punta Grill was way below average I would not return there for any meal. Both of the bars are nice. Covid - I did not see a single employee without a full mask covering mouth and nose. Hand sanitizer was on hand at many locations. If you are returning to a country that requires a test you should make an appointment with reservations team prior to your stay. Process is seamless. Overall this is a resort I would happily return to.

The hotel was simply amazing. We were recommended this place by our friend, who’s name is also Dmitry who works at the hotel. It definitely exceeded our expectations! The breakfast was delicious, as well as room service. We also liked the privacy of the hotel. Our room was oceanfront, with a beautiful view of the sunset every night. The pools and the private beach at the hotel are top notch. So once again thank you to Dmitry for recommending this place. (He also spoke Russian and Spanish) which was very helpful. He recommended a lot of restaurants and activities in the area! Thank you 🙏

A very beautiful resort with wonderful and friendly staff. Highly recommend staying at one of the villas! We had our own secret oasis with a private pool and lounging area. It’s so easy to spend the day relaxing at the pools and beach on the premises. The restaurants surprisingly had delicious food as well. Highly recommend Ni for the Aji chicken and complimentary plantain chips. Ramona is a great atmosphere for Dinner. Also, highly recommend the spa services and gym. This resort and services are definitely pricey, but in this case you do get what you payed for. My husband and I are not big fans of very touristy destinations, but found Nizuc to be the perfect destination for a relaxing vacation. We definitely want to return in the future!
