Stayed here for a night as we came in late from San Diego and wanted to get a good night sleep prior to going to resort. Great hotel, clean room but the downstairs bar and restaurant is excellent. If you want a good drink, find Alex the mixologist. He made us a red margarita with a splash of wine. It was a beautiful presentation and delicious. Definitely stay here again.

These people wouldn't answer their phone if Publisher's Clearing House was offering the grand prize. I even received a second number for airport pickup, which simply didn't pick up in Spanish. We ended up waiting 1 hour for a shuttle that was supposed to pick up every 15 minutes. If we reached someone on the phone we could have coordinated, or known which unmarked vehicle would get us to the airport. The customer service then proceeded to use the excuse that this shuttle that we were told we could get was a courtesy. So they don't want to acknowledge that we were only waiting because we were told to expect one, and some half sincere apology was supposed to replace the time and money. But that was only when I finally got a manager, two days later. Prior to that, I waited 30 minutes for a front desk lady who was determine to pretend I wasn't patiently waiting. Then has an attitude when dealing with me like, why the hell am I there? Good question lady, I promise I won't make that mistake again. They nickle and dime for plates, their food wasn't anything special, their TV channels had poor reception, and the beach they were near was incredibly mediocre. An absolutely trash experience traveling out of the country on vacation.

Not sure what to make about the reviews were people had bad experiences, but ours was great! Arrived at the airport, and the shuttle pulled right up / flagged him down. He asked if we were the (another family's) name party, and we said no. Another family of 8 filled the van, but the driver was SUPER polite an explained that they have arrived and called earlier, but that he would send the next driver to us right away. He even took our picture to make sure we were helped next. Not sure if this was a hustle (its mexico, people are shouting at you "come with me" etc, we called the hotel. The woman who answered responded to us in very slow, but execellent english - making sure what terminal we were at, and directing us to the correct spot in the pickup area. She said a shuttle would be on the way. Within 5 min, a driver pulled up, and we were taken to the hotel without incident! I wish I could remember his name, Edwardo maybe, but the gentleman who checked us in (Thomas Bxxxxxn) on 9/6/21 at around 5pm was sooo nice and accomidating. We shared that we were visiting mexico for the first time and celebrating our 10 year anniversary, and he was able to get us upgraded to a nice mini suite. Later after checkin, he asked if we were happy with our room and having a nice time, what great hospitality. I hope the hotel will look up this employees name and recognize his excellence! Hotel was clean and much more than I expected for the price and location. Great pool facility, and modern gym with high quality gear, elipticals, and treadmills. Room was great, modern and comfortable (thanks again for the suite). The restuarant was just OK for dinner, I ordered authentic MX food and my wife went with a hot sandwich, bother were underwhelming. But the included breakfast was LEGIT! Huge selection of both tranditional breakfast items as well as healthier options (oatmeal, greek yogurt, etc). Not a deal breaker, but the who facility had a bit of a musty smell that clearly originated from the AC, which was running ovetime 24 hours a day. Excellent overall experience, thank you!

This hotel was chosen due to having airport shuttle and being 10 min from airport.. We called day before to find out how to get shuttle when we arrive at the airport. We were told to call upon arrival and they will be there every 30 min. Arrived to Cancun airport called went to space 22 as directed. No one showed up… We called multiple times and they kept telling us they were coming (speaking in Spanish of course). Other patrons also waiting.. Told same thing. Two hours later after more than eight calls they showed up. Insane. After a day of traveling to wait two hours is ridiculous. Another Patron had flown 14 hours from Germany and then another two for a shuttle to go 10 min to hotel. When we arrived all we got was sorry for the delay. No comp in room or a drink. Be aware if you plan on staying here

Overall, I was quite disappointed with my stay at this property. Some of the issues were: - Difficulty communicating with uninterested front desk staff (in either English or Spanish) - No acknowledgment of lifetime gold status (or any status!) at check-in - Hotel is new, but room was already showing signs of damage But the biggest problem was with the airport shuttle. The main reason we choose this property was proximity to the airport. On check-in, we were assured by the front desk that the shuttle leaves every 30 minutes (on the hour and half-hour). As we had an early morning flight, we arrived in the lobby at 4:25am the next morning, and were informed that the shuttle had already left. There was no apology, no alternative offered except to wait 30 minutes for the next shuttle. By the time the next shuttle arrived, there were many people waiting to get on. There was no control as to who could board, and it was only becasue we explained to other passengers that had been the first ones waiting that we were allowed on. We even heard the shuttle driver complain to the front desk clerk (in Spanish) that he needed to keep the queue better organized. Given that most people stay at this property in order to get to the airport, the coordination of the airport shuttle should be a top priority. Instead, it seems like guests need to fend for themselves. Unless significant improvements and training is made, I would be very reluctant to ever stay at this property again.
