Only get cheap liquor if u dont pay for a upscale room, food very lacking in flavor & selection (only 1choice for breakfast & only HBs at poolside for lunch), slow service, walls in room r paper thin, if u want anything extra the price is ridiculous

Good vibes and great energy everytime I visit. Can't find a better place to compete with the sensation at Temptation. S/O to Georgiana for always bringing lively energy and great convo. S/O to Maria Angeles in food service for making all her guest feel a warm welcome.

While there are a lot of ups and downs since the renovation, we continue to go for the friends and staff that have become better than family. The theme nights are always epic as are many of the shows. I could list the pros and cons since the renovation as so many people still compare but for this review, it's about our trip this April. We stayed a week, Saturday to Saturday. Check in was simple and fast in the Premier room. Since we arrived later in the day (about 2:00) our room was ready so we sped up and unpacked a few things and headed to the pool. **The People** -Tono at the Premier bar was wonderful and he began to recognize our mugs and knew what we wanted. The drinks were mixed well and there was plenty of water whenever we needed. And, we were not frowned upon if we only wanted water at times! (Gotta keep hydrated to make it through the evenings)! -The playmakers....wonderful!!! Sara has only been there three weeks but she looked and acted totally comfortable and as through she was there for years. She always came up to me with a huge smile and hug every day! "The Rock" (Antonio) was so friendly and welcoming and always a pleasure to talk with. He never neglected his job to everyone but was able to make you feel special, like you were the only guest. -We ate breakfast at the buffet several mornings and always had Pablo taking care of us. He was attentive with the coffee and anything extra we needed. The waiting in line to have someone serve you was annoying and time consuming but it was for everyone's safety. The last day we were there, that restriction ended but...Pablo insisted on serving us anyway! We will miss him. -One person we really missed was Lincy, our usual omelet lady! She was relegated to the kitchen for some reason. She was always such a pleasant welcome in the mornings and always smiled so brightly for us making the omelets. She needs to be back out there where her guests can see her and love on her!! -Our chef at Sutra, Michael, made our friend's birthday dinner so special! He sang Happy Birthday (in tune!) and made the evening so enjoyable. He was a delight to have as our chef! -We ate at the Italian restaurant twice and had Pablo both times. He was amazing! First time was for a party of 4 and the next night, a party of 10 of us! He was glad to see me and even played a couple of jokes on my behalf for one person in our party. Excellent server! -Elijah, a pool "security guard" / "watcher" but not in police uniform guy, was over the top! I had an issue with a party of birthday girls taking lots of pictures in our direction and went to talk with a uniformed security guard. He went to Elijah to help translate and Elijah took care of the situation, without anyone knowing it was me that reported them. He continued to check in with me every day thereafter to make sure there were no other issues. In fact....he was the one that arranged for our party of 10 at the Italian restaurant...at the last minute! He was always around with a smile and a hug. Great guy! -The waitresses at Bash...Dafne and Liz! Two amazing ladies! We were Liz's first table and first guests on her first day! We would have never known as she totally fit right in with the flow of the evening. Our drinks were refilled before they were totally empty and she remembered everyone's drinks (and shots!) We looked for her every night after that....and she looked for us! We would watch her and she was busier than a bee and never neglected anyone, yet always at least smiled when she flew past us. We had a birthday celebration at one of the Bash cabanas one night and she and Daphne took excellent care of us. We can't wait to see them again! -Natali at Caffeine, the coffee bar, was such a cutie! After the first day, she remembered me and what I wanted and when my husband didn't come with me one morning, she still asked if I wanted a plain coffee for him! She worked hard to keep that area clean and to serve everyone with a smile! -Butlers....we did have an issue with our first assigned butler, Ritchie. He was very slow, if at all, to respond to messages. We got a different butler and things did improve. Ivan took care of us and helped get the birthday cabana and we greatly appreciated that. **The Resort** -Our room was in the tower, 6th floor, and the view was amazing! The room was very clean and the daily clean up service was always great. Evening turn-down was nice, not needed, but nice. No issues with the hot or cold water and the A/C worked fine. We LOVED having the two sinks and more counterspace than we had at the other rooms (Garden view) in the past. We will be back to the tower for sure! -The pool...we were there for two foam parties and it was rough for a short person like me! I got "lost" in the foam and several cabanas were consumed half way up! They could do a better job at pointing the foam machine, especially during windy times., Overall, though, a good time! Pool is still too deep for short people but hey, it's a party and we survived. -The music: Lots of people have opinions about the music. This trip it was fine for us. Some techno, some Latino, several songs were heard a few times throughout the day but overall, ok this trip. -The yacht. We rented the yacht for an afternoon and the captain and first mate were over the top! They were amazingly attentive and took great care of our party. Hope to be able to do that again! -The resort was always being wiped down. People were everywhere, with masks, cleaning and wiping. They worked hard to keep things safe for the guests. -Pool towel hut needs to have better communication with the butlers. On two occasions, our friends and I had issues getting the cabana our butlers said we had. The towel hut didn't know which ones were supposed to be ours and that caused a stressful confrontation with another guest. We worked it out...over drinks of course but some simple basic communication would have avoided the situation. Overall....a great trip with wonderful friends and wonderful staff. Please, if you visit the resort, remember to keep you phone in your room, don't take pictures of others without their permission but take lots of pictures of the view and beach! Tip well and often and smile to everyone. We are all there to have a fun time and make memories. Enjoy!!

Room Tip: If you don't mind some evening bass thumping from music until 2:00, the Tower is great!

The facilities and food were much improved from our last visit. Entertainment was also improved however the absence of late nite activities was notable. The bad news is the crowd most Americans (myself) has deteriorated. The lack of respect shown to the professional performers by yelling and dueling dance-off hoodies (twerking) was embarrassing as well as their dress. Temptations needs to enforce rules of acceptable conduct. expect3ed from guests or they will eventually face the same fate as S Beach..... Service was outstanding as usual.....

This was my first time as a guest, because 2 years ago I was a part of playmakers, and I was really interesting to see from another side)) So parties and show amazing as always! Guys from the Premier bar Miguel, Toño and my love Jerry - you are always the best!!❤ Also special thanks to Pablo from Romanza for his attention and Sunue from Sutra, who remembers that I like Martini bianco with rocks since I visited this restaurant just once 2 years ago, this impressive!! Playmakers team))) that guys remind me my crazy time in this place)) I want to highlight Sara - very nice, sweet and pure girl, sexy pole dancer Alejandra, Mar - little cutie girl, but blasting MC when she just takes a microphone, her pool game was WOW!!! And also hot sexy boys chocolate bunny Ariel, superstar Rock and my passion Toy Boy)) About Covid. I was that unlucky to found first symptoms in my 4th day of vacation. Good things that in the lobby in a special room you can make a free Covid test. So when its appear positive I was confirmed in 5 min and isolated until the end of my vacation. Its suck but fear, I understand. So after that I was moved to the farest room in the corner of the hotel do not infect anyone else. I could order the food and drinks to the room wherever I want. Everybody was keeping being nice and very polite with me even when I was trying to sneak to the party, I was caught in a minute. Thank you for that Mr Security, and sorry me🙏🏼 Minus is the isolation room located in the ground floor with many plants and fence, so there is very wet and humid, what is contributing Covid to spread more((( it must be more ventilated room. And also room service do not provide you drinks from the bar, only beer in cans. So if you will have a Covid, find a way how to get drinks. Of course I will be back again but healthy as never!!!💪🏼
