We stayed three nights in early May. This hotel was perfectly situated--a short walk to the Zocalo or five minutes to the bus station in the other direction. The room was very pretty, we looked out to the street. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. Lots of hot water for showers. With the heavy windows...

This hotel is quite new, sparkling clean, and well run. The location is excellent as it is only a 5 minute uphill walk to the zocalo. There is a ping pong table and big television down in the basement breakfast room. Breakfast is served Friday thru Sunday only, but there was always baked goods, apples, and coffee or tea available...

It's really near from Santa Prisca church and you don't actually need your car for much. In the hotel reception you can find cookies, coffe and tea, as well as apples and some bread. There are just 9 rooms so there's a lot of privacy, plus, they are really confy and cute. I would obviously come back!! From a 1...

Excellent location 2 blocks from zocalo area. Room was clean and designed in a slightly modern rustic fashion, and also easily fit needs of our family with grade school children. Friendly helpful staff will direct you to good silver deals so you don't have to sift through any markets or annoying, pushy vendors. Rooftop access to take photos of area....

Located just a few hundred meters down Alarcon from the Cathedral. Great, spacious rooms, and friendly service make this a don't miss hotel. Alarcon is a busy one-way street leading downhill from the area near the zocalo, although you cannot get there or back diectly via taxi because of the circulation pattern. Taxco is built on a steep hillside with...

Id like to give the Laurel higher ratings, but to be honest, i arrived slept and left. The staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations which turned out well Our room was clean, & modern with powerful shower and comfortable beds. the room looked straight onto the street so be prepared for some traffic noise. This is a great...

We had a very nice stay. New hotel, spacious rooms, very clean, service very kind. There is no restaurant but that's not an issue: many restaurants in the neighboarhood. In fact just two blocks away from the main square( zocalo). Fresh coffe and cookies at the reception! Iwill certainly come back.

“don't be afraid to take a front room - they have more light and great views, and noise after 8:00 or 9:00 at night is not an issue.”

“There are no quiet rooms in this hotel, and there probably are no quiet rooms in any hotel in Taxco. Traffic is horrible and loud everywhere. Try the top floor for rooms that are a bit bigger and only marginally brighter.”

“The rooms in the back are quiet but dark. Some have no windows. However, we preferred those to the front-facing ones as I believe they would have been noisy.”

“The rooms toward the back are quiet but dark. We switched to a room with a small balcony over the street. More traffic noise, but worth it for the view and light.”
