Very friendly place in a good location near the Cathedral and the main historic district. Place was clean and tidy. Only real complaint was the odor coming from the bathroom but I'm sure they can remedy that. They have off street parking too.

Wonderful little hotel with a great set up if you are a family or have a longer stay. Each villa has a kitchen and living area in addition to two bedrooms. Nothing is faraway in San Cristobal but this is a short 5 min. walk to the main strip of restaurants and shops. Only complain is that we did not...

As a couple travelling for few months for work it is one of the best hotel we've had the chance to stay in. The hotel is pretty closed from the centre in a very quiet area. Everything in well done, decorated with taste, clean and tidy. We were in a very big room which contained a big kitchen, a free...

Casa Morada is a boutique hotel 10 minutes' walking distance from the center of San Cristobal. It's very well-kept; the decoration is warm and colonial, with both Mexican and indigenous accents all around. The rooms are spacious and connect with a small, lush garden in the back where one can sit to read or work. There's a tempting hammock in...

From our first greeting from Ernst the owner and staff members Armando and Anna who had put together the complex arrangements for our party of 10 who were staying at this beautifully appointed hotel, we knew that we were in for a blissful stay. Reservations for restaurants and events, travel arrangements, emergency help for a couple who had a recurring...

My family and I (8 adults and 1 child) stayed in two of the little villas they have available. The hotel was quaint, clean and had everything we needed for our stay over Christmas. It is located within walking distance of everything, boutiques, restaurants, churches, markets, everything! Not only was the hotel adorable and in a perfect location, the staff...

I spent eight great days at this wonderful small hotel. About 10 minute walk from all the activity in the center of town, Casa Morada was quiet-- although light sleepers should be aware there are a few roosters in the neighborhood. My Jr. Suite was perfect for an extended stay. From reservation to check out the staff was always friendly...

We enjoyed our 4 night stay. Staff spoke English, cozy public areas, nice room (The Master Suite), good location for exploring the town. Ana the evening clerk was a sweetheart making arrangements and suggestions during our stay and Marco was a gracious daytime host. Lovely small restaurant and bar. We had a great adventure coming to this hotel from Tuxtla airport (TUX) with a rookie taxi driver, but that is a different story. We visited here twice. The first visit for 6 nights and the second for only 1. We found both stays very enjoyable. We had the "Jr. Suite" for both stays. There is an adequate kitchen including...
