Really nice place, lovely rooms, good fireplace and pool game... Located very close to Santo Domingo market and the center, the hostel is a very good example of good design (making the best with what the building has to offer). I had a very nice surprise to have a free night stay because I was travelling by motorcycle. Thanks to... More

We stayed in an en-suite private room. The shower was hot both times that I used it. Breakfast was cereal, coffee and toast - not the best we've had in Mexico but not the worst either. You had to make it yourself and wash up afterwards. The guy who checked us in at reception was very friendly and there were... More

Surprisingly neat and friendly hotel. Shift manager helped us to book an excursion to magic villages. Hotel is clean and a lot of different people stay there. There are great common areas, chimney and late night fire in the middle of the hotel. Awesome ambient!

They do have hot showers and lovely beds, and some of the staff members are quite nice, but only one of them speaks English. So if you need something on the days he doesn't work (and you don't speak spanish), good luck. Also I had several feminine products stolen from me, two of which were laying on my bed. I... More

First of all, it's cold in San Cristobal. They advertise hot showers and bonfires at night, but the showers that I had were merely lukewarm and there was only a bonfire on 1 of the 4 nights I stayed. Disappointing. One of the reception staff was cool, but the others weren't really that helpful. Breakfast was average for a hostel.... More

The staff was really nice. The people I met there where really cool as well. It was really clean, had hot showers. I was there for about 4 night and had a blast from beginning to end. At night they have a bonfire which is just great especially if you are travelling solo because it allows you to meet other... More

Beautiful property with friendly staff and dogs! Lots of room for everyone to have their own space but also great ways to meet one another (bonfires every night). Prices are reasonable and includes the hottest most reliable water ever! Check it out!

Nice environment, nice staff, all around makes you feel at home, good location and facilities. The bonfire at night is lovely. Rooms and showers are very good, I enjoyed everyday of my stay there (I wish I had the time to stay longer).

So clean and comfortable. The staff are really lovely and helpful. It's in a good spot and the bonfires at night are wicked. There is also the bonus of several cute doggies, a TV room, pool table, hammocks and some grass. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
