A historic building with interesting artifacts. Rooms maybe a bit on small side but cosy and full of atmosphere. Very helpful staff, fast wifi in rooms, excellent buffet breakfast. Centrally located. On a tour so can't comment on value.

I stayed here in January 2014 while on VJV tour. It is a nice hotel with inner courtyards and gardens as mentioned. The restaurant is across the road, breakfast was fine and the hotel is quite well located for the main square. My room did overlook the inner corridor on the ground floor. It was quite cold in San Cristobal...

This is in a very good location in the delightful old town, just a pleasant stroll away from the main plaza, restaurants and shops. The hotel has very pretty inner courtyards. We stayed in the Master Suite which is at the top of the building and is a perfect combination of a large, light, bright room but in a characterful...

The Casavieja was excellently located and full of charm. The room was warm in the evenings, despite the chill outside in late November. The hotel is convenient to many good restaurants and music venues, just off the pedestrian street. The front desk staff was helpful.

This hotel is on a very narrow street, which will not take tour coaches. We were provided with taxis,to get to the hotel as we arrived late in the evening after a journey from Palenque, but other guests had a long walk with luggage. Although I have rated this as very good it is really somewhere between average and very...

We had to walk all the way though the town with our luggage to get to this hotel as the street are so narrow. The hotel was welcoming had I been in a fit state to appreciate it after the walk. The layout of the hotel was strange as the restaurant was down and across the road from the hotel....

This hotel is actually an old colonial building. The reception is in the middle and the rooms, to either side are around courtyards and gardens. The bathrooms were very large, and the rooms were good, with, for my liking, too much furniture in them. This made them feel a little cluttered. They were however very comfortable. Breakfast was in another...

What we liked about the hotel was: Great location Nice spacious shower Lovely colonial building What we did not like was: Small rooms, not enough to swing two average size suitcases People walking past your bedroom window or sitting having dinner outside your room Noise from people walking past on tiled floors and noise from the reception which is open...

We stayed up top in the Master Suite and were very pleased with everything. The room service was quick and delicious, the Jacuzzi tub was very relaxing, and the rose petals that they used to decorate the room with was a wonderful touch. A great location for a romantic stay! It is just around the block from the "Andador"(pedestrian only...
