This hotel is set in two old houses on opposite sides of a road. It is in a very good location in the centre of San Cristobal. Each house is quite big and set round a large and very attractive courtyard, with one having a second smaller courtyard as well. Despite having asked for a quiet room, we were given...

We stayed 2 nights here and loved it. Its great value for money, excellent location 2 minutes from the central square, attentive and friendly service (we used laundry facilities and booked 2trips through the hotel) and a beautiful colourful property. Highly recommended and will definitely book again if we visit SC d.l. C.

Generally a nice building but rooms variable....but extraordinarily for a city accustomed to cold nights, the only heating in the rooms is a quaint, small, wood-burning stove! To add to this eccentricity, one has to pay extra for portions of (kindling quantity?) wood to burn. This must be a "World First", surely? Great for those who remember days before central...

Me and my girlfriend stayed here two times during our week long trip around the state of Chiapas. In total the length of the stay was of four nights. On the first stay we booked the standard room which did not have an amazing view, a nice door/window with a balcony but on the first floor in an inside atrium...

A beautiful place, centrally located, clean and simple. The room was impeccably clean with TV and internet throughout. Many rooms have balconies that give into narrow attriums. Whereas the latter help keep the rooms warm in the cool winter nights, they readily carry noise and conversations by neighboring guests. Bed matresses are hard, but bed covers are ample and warm....

Been here for two nights. The Posada next door, affiliated with this hotel, is far superior, yet can't be found either on TA nor at hotels.com. Remember that it can be really nasty cold in January, so I was surprised when I was charged about 2 $us for a fire in the lounge, after the fourth request. The rooms are...

We are spending a week at this hotel. I'm sorry we chose it. The place is lovely but the staff differ tremendously. Roxana and the other women are pleasant and helpful but several of the men are off- hand bordering on rude. We have already been here for four nights and haven't met any bilingual members of staff. Yesterday was...

Excellent 4 star hotel in the middle of town. Very new, spacious showers, romantic rooms with fireplace and balcony on courtyards. Good Mexican and American breakfast buffet, rooftop view of the city, and walking access to both shopping pedestrian streets and the town square. Safe, fun and convenient to city attractions and day tours to textile and cultural sites and...

An old traditional house transformed into a comfortable hotel. Breakfast is not included but is very good buffet at a reasonable price. Rooms are clean, well fitted in the traditional arquitecture. Very recommended.
