Centrally located charming mexican hacienda, friendly staff, nice clean rooms, decent size patio Bathrooms are tiny, internet in rooms is poor and restaurant on site is about average. It is well worth the money because of its location Chill in the courtyard late in the evening with cool breeze blowing and candle lit walls... Priceless

Let me start off by saying once you arrive you feel like you are at a Mexican soap opera setting. Hotel and grounds are immaculate, staff is helpful in every way, they have secure parking and location can't be any better. We stayed in the Junior suite which is located at the front of the hotel, it was spacious but...

The staff was amazing and the hotel room was perfect! Guadalupe Molina at the front desk was very professional and attentive! We were extremely impressed with hotel and hotel location and already have highly recommended to friends and family! We are now planning a family reunion in the next couple of months!

Perfect central location. Easy to walk to most attractions. We found a few fabulous restaurants in the vicinity. Very comfortable accommodation. Had a room toward the back of the hotel and it was quiet.

I was worried about staying here before we arrived as I had read a lot of reviews after booking that said about the noise. I actually found our room very comfortable and with. Real heritage feel. Could hear a bar with thumping noise in the day carrying through. At night we took precautions as the very old buildings mean everything...

Dear Nickoteeta: Thank you for taking your time for sending us your comments. The comments of our guests help us to improve our service. Our hotel is located in the heart of the city, and it preserved the colonial architecture of the patios from the eighteenth century, as well, sometimes the cars, or commerce next door are noisy. I spent only one day at this Hotel and all the amenities were exceptional. The room was very clean, silent, big, nearby downtown. The parking lot is just a block away. You can walk around the hotel looking at night life in San Cristobal de las Casas.

Hotel is lovely colonial building in a great location. However with rooms being enclosed in an atrium the noise of guests and their noisy children reverberates and echos through the building. Terrible if you are trying to get some rest and no one seems to care - neither parents, nor management - as kids run around screaming. Also as the...

This colonial style hotel is good value. The rooms are large with all the required facilities. Well located but this means that you might get a bit of noise. Some guests were noisy too. Staff are pleasant. Definitely worth a try.

Outstanding location,Beautiful colonial layout, pleasant and efficient staff, good Mexican style breakfast buffet, clean rooms and spaces so what is the problem? Well if you are offered a room 206 to 210 know that you will hear constant thumping from from a neighbouring bar from 9pm to 2 am weekdays and until 5 am on weekends and since tour groups...
