This hostel was not actually bad to stay at, but it did miss the mark on virtually any "extra" so I think you can do better when staying in San Cristobal. The grounds were lovely, the view stunning, the dorms comfortable and well appointed, the location good, everything was clean and for the right price. But it was also quiet,...

You cannot stay in a shared room because there is no key to lock the door; so whoever can get in and steal your things and money as they did with me. It is very insecure because the main entrance, when I was there, was always without a person to control who gets in and who gets out. It is...

i had a single room because i was really tired from my night on the bus. the room was clean but right next to the generator. so there went my quiet time.. the breakfast is okay, but i got nicer breakfasts in other places. also the water didn't run all the time. meaning no flushing the toilets or washing your...

we ultimately liked this place but there are some definite pros and cons. Pros: good breakfast, great location!, nice views, good security, large common areas, nice, clean room with two blankets, friendly lady from greece at front desk, got a free night for staying three, good value-private room was half the price of another hostel we looked at, easy to...

Good location, great breakfast but cold rooms in winter (November). We spent a week here and got the last night free. We met some lovely people here and the hostel has great potential but needs some tlc. The owners should take some interest in this hostel, put up some hammocks in the lovely garden, heat the common rooms, better equip...

out of the ordinary, as is the city, I liked it here and did return to the same hostel. Although the breakfast is not great, it is included and gives you a good morning's start. Very quiet but nicely kept and service was really ok. Clean, safe, practical and close to the center, just what you need when i Mexico

It was a cute place with a nice garden, patios for eating, good views, laundry facilities, and internet. And good location just a few blocks from the downtown area. But we were way too cold. There was just one blanket per bed, not sufficient for that climate. My friend slept in jeans and a fleece jacket, and we still ended...

After coming from Palenque we found san Cristobal de las Casas quite cold. This hostel did not help us to fell worm. The shed- as this was rather a shed than a room was really cold at night. There is very limited access to the hot water. There are a lot computers to use but unfortunatelly many are broken. The...
