Cosy hostel, very peaceful and relaxed. I'm usually a restless traveller who likes to move on quickly but it was easy to stop here for five days. The hostel is clean and has well equipped kitchen if you want to cook for yourself.

Me and my friends stayed for 4 nights in Hostel los Camellos! The hostal is very clean, colourful, has a great staff (Fabián) and a perfect location. Wifi works perfectly and you have free access to coffee, tea, water and a great kitchen. Note: if you're looking for a party hostel and meeting other travelers, this might not be the... More

We had a lovely calm stay at the Rincon de los Camellos, with friendly hosts and happy guests, clean and comfortable rooms, and colourful decoration! The courtyard was peaceful, with people relaxing in the sunshine and gave a real feel of calm. There was a large kitchen and fridge in case you want to cook some food rather than eat... More

Just had the best sleep I've had in 6 months of travelling in one of this hostal's ultra-comfy beds. The staff are very warm and welcoming and there's a nice cosy communal area to sit and play a bit of guitar. Kitchen is well-equipped and always clean. Will definitely come back here next time.

My son, his girlfriend and I stayed at this hostel for 2 weeks. This was my first experience ever at a hostel and I have to say, the people running Los Camellos are very professional, very friendly and accommodating. A good sized kitchen allows for ample room to cook your way, to get free coffee, and sample some of the... More

What a relief! After trying two other hostels in San Cristobal I was so relieved to find Los Camellos! Friendly, clean, good atmosphere, and quiet at night. Nice courtyard for hanging out in, and hot water for showers. I felt so much more comfortable here and because the kitchen roomy and light, and is kept clean. I found myself cooking—and... More

We are seniors on a budget and had the private room with a private bathroom. The large room has two double beds, shelves and two tables. There is WiFi in the room. The court yard is a nice place to spend drinking you complementary coffee or water. The price was 320 peso about $19 USA dollars, the location is close... More

This is the second time I stayed at los Camellos, and once again it was a great experience. The private rooms are comfortable and affordable, there is free coffee and good wifi. It can get cold in San Cristobal at night, but they give you sufficient wool blankets. The location of this place is excellent, there are many places to... More

Great hospitality! Located right on the main street, but on the quite side. I slept in the dormitories and it was really comfortable and warm. Amazing kitchen, full of equipment. Cool people, good vibes. Recommended!

We booked it for just one night and I'm glad we did. You get exactly what you pay for (it was super cheap). It was clean and staff was friendly, the only drawback was the fact that our private double room with bathroom had.. an outside located bathroom with a lock on its metal doors. So every time we would... More
