My husband and I stayed at Casa los Arquitos for a whole week March 2009. We stayed in one of the large rooms and we felt like we were right at home. More like a suite, our room included a very large bedroom with King size bed, a tiled bathroom with a closed shower (rare in Mexico) and a small...

My husband and I had read the reviews on "Trip Advisor" and were expecting great things of Casa los Arquitos but were disappointed. Firstly, I should explain, that we took advantage of a reduction of 25% in price as we were staying 12 nights. We stayed in the room on the second floor with a small terrace and we did...

Casa Los Arquitos can be found along cobbled streets next to the old aqueduct that used to bring water to the city from the mountains. It is a short walk to San Sebastian cathedral, the main square (the zocolo), restaurants, galleries, markets, and bookstores. When I entered the courtyard of Casa Los Arquitos I felt a sudden and profound calmness,...

We stayed at Casa los Arquitos for 7 nights and found it to be a very nice base for exploring the city and its surroundings. The weeklong stay enabled us to get a 20% discount, which made it quite reasonable. Although this is a B&B, we opted not to have the owners provide breakfast, also saving a few dollars. There...

Overall, Los Arquitos is a wonderful place. Very clean, well managed, and pleasant. The people cleaning our room even neatly folded my dirty clothes that had just been thrown over a chair!! The breakfasts are simple, but good and reported to be organic in terms of the food quality. Juan and Patricia live on-site and are the consummate hosts. While...

Christmas in Oaxaca couldn't have been better. Casa Los Arquitos was one of the best B&B's we've stayed in. Juan & Patricia are the best hosts, caring, concerned, always asking how you slept, if they can help with anything! They helped us with a tour, directions to wherever we wanted to go. The upstairs suite is by far the best...

Casa Los Arquitos is a beautiful B&B located right in the historic Los Arquitos section of Oaxaca. You step outside the B&B and the arches of the old city's aqueduct run along Rufino Tamayo. Rooms are very cozy and relaxing, with the nice courtyard right outside your door. It's a perfect setup in that you are a short walk from...

My partner and I felt immediately welcomed by our hosts Juan and Patti. The B&B is extremely quiet for such a convienent locatation. Juan's recoomednations and tourist advice was helpful and accurate. He guided us to a excellent massage therapist and to a number of wonderful dinners. The morning began with an array of local baked goods, fresh squeezed juices,...

Casa los Arquitos is a small, family run B+B within a short walk of everything worth visiting in Oaxaca city (and there´s a lot worth visiting.) The owners are charming and go out of their way to be as helpful as possible. The rooms are simple, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. Every morning you are rewarded with a hearty...

I recently traveled to Oaxaca for the Day of the Dead and stayed at Casa Los Arquitos. I had the time of my life! Casa Los Arquitos is located on a lovely cobblestone street, just a short walk from the Zocolco. My room was very clean and comfortable, and I felt at home. Since I was a woman traveling alone...
