This was my first time in Oaxaca and my experience was amazing- without a doubt I will return to Casa de Los Angeles again. I was treated like family. The home is centrally located within walking distance of many attractions. I felt safe at all times. Our hosts, Rene, Paula, and Martita are very welcoming, warm, and extremely helpful. They...

Casa de los Angeles is a wonderful choice for anyone who is seeking the experience of staying in a home in Oaxaca. Rene and Paula are wonderful hosts for this bed and breakfast that is a convenient walk from the center of the city. The home is very comfortable and the breakfasts (prepared by Marta, the family's long-time housekeeper) were...

This home stay is about the lovely people, Rene and Paula and their family, along with Marta, their housekeeper of 30+ years. The location is great - especially if you are studying Spanish at Instituto Cultural Oaxaca. The breakfasts are delicious and better than much food found in restaurants. Rene had great recommendations and was always helpful. Every morning at...

No visit to Oaxaca is complete without a visit to Casa de los Angeles. Although I am staying south of the city this visit, my daughter and I were invited to join the family for la comida. It has been 3 years since we last enjoyed a stay with the family but our welcome was as warm as always. Our...

Staying at Casa de Los Angeles was like staying with extended family. Rene, Paula and cook Marta were so warm, friendly and helpful. There are only four rooms, and the house was full with six of us there at the the time we stayed. Nice and quiet. The rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious and homely. Hot shower and reliable wifi....

I spent a month at la Casa de los Angeles - Rene and Paula were always helpful - and the breakfasts - prepared by Marta - using Paula's recipes, I think - were always delicious and varied. The rooms are very clean and spacious and there was always hot water! I felt right at home and it was very hard...

Owned by a very friendly couple, who will come to pick you up and drop you at the airport at a minimal additional cost. Wonderful local Oaxacan cuisine for a full breakfast, different every day of the week, made by a resident member of the family. We had a comfortable double-bed room with en-suite washroom. Prices very reasonable, super location...

My wife and I spend 3 days at Casa de Los Angeles and we see breakfast was excellent real Oaxaca style, rooms comfortable and very clean, and hospitality outstanding. We recommend. And of course we will go back for more time to enjoy the place as well the Oaxaca state.

Just stayed here for 9 nights including the Dia de los Muertos celebrations. By the end of the stay, Rene, his wife Paola, and their niece Martita felt like family. When my girlfriend became ill during the trip (no, not Montezuma's revenge. They always have huge jugs of filtered water in the courtyard), they all showed serious concern, and Martita...

I stayed at Rene and Paula's lovely home 2 years ago and when I planned a return trip to Oaxaca, I knew I wanted to stay here. In fact, Casa de los Angeles was one of the reasons we wanted to return! Rene, Paula and Marta are so welcoming and helpful. Our room was always meticulously clean, the courtyard lush...
