My husband, adult daughter, and I stayed in Suite 1 for a week during a heat wave in May. We chose that room because it has air conditioning and were very comfortable there. The hotel is in a great location near the tourist attractions but also not that far from the language school we attended. The staff at Casa Pereya...

Our experience at Casa Pereyra was PERFECT. My brother-in-law recommended it to us before we went to Oaxaca. The location is great, you can walk to all the interesting parts of the town in less than 15 minutes. The service is exceptional, Patricia the owner is kind and thoughtful, and so is Sofia. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and...

Easy walking distance to Zocolo and many other cultural venues as well as shopping. Staff was attentive without being intrusive. Heritage feeling to the building and patios but lots of conveniences in the rooms. We plan to return. T&C

We had and amazing experience during our vacations in this beautiful hotel. The location is perfect, near everything, downtown, market, restaurants, shopping. The attention was impeccable, we just loved this hotel. Very recommended . If you just want to enjoy Oaxaca by waking and enjoying the beautiful streets, this is the perfect place!

Apartment #2 was my lovely home for November and December 2014. The location was perfect for being able to run out to enjoy the many different celebrations, but then close enough to go back home for a while. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The towels and bedding much nicer than most. I cooked most of my meals in...

We enjoyed everything about this place. Our place had a king size bed. Hard to find. It was very quiet. Although I understand not in all the rooms. Every morning you get a tray with a carafe full of coffee. A treat.

My partner and I stayed at Casa Pereyra in October/ November for 8 days during the time of Dia de Los Muertos (The Day of The Dead). We absolutely loved Oaxaca and were very happy with our stay at Casa Pereyra. The staff mostly spoke Spanish but were always smiling and friendly. We stayed in one of the studio apartments...

We wouldn't likely stay here again - but we have to say that the management was wonderful, kind, and tried to make things right. The internet and hot water was spotty. No oven in kitchen. No windows in our room. Lighting was poor. But the friendliness of the management made up for a lot of inadequacies. They did try to...

This place gave us family warmth but its attention to details is no less than boutique hotels. Towels were soft. Toiletries were quality. Design is tasteful. Its courtyard is as beautiful as seen in photos. Its manager, Patricia, speaks little English but is pleased to give tips, eg. where to have good and inexpensive breakfast. They indeed have a list...

this charming hotel provided a restful and relaxing respite during a whirlwind 5-day trip to oaxaca city for el dia de los muertos in 2010. although we didn't take advantage of the kitchen spaces as often as we would have liked, the option was great to have just in case! coffee was served each morning, although i believe at the...
