We stayed 5 nights in Parador Agustin on a visit to Oaxaca. The location is perfect, one block from the Zocalo, easy walking distance from restaurants, coffee shops, bars, churches, museums and anything else in the historic center. The hotel is an old historic building located on a busy street where parking is a challenge even for taxis. Our room...

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and had a room at the front of the building. It was very spacious and comfortable. The management and employees were all very friendly and helpful, giving us information and advise when asked. The premises are kept very clean and the breakfast was not only very good but complimentary as well if...

The location of this hotel is very central and we found that we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The staff is very friendly and the bonus of getting a free hot breakfast if you pay in cash is awesome! The layout of the hotel is a bit odd and our room was right near the front...

This place was very nice - the breakfast menu, although limited, is delightful (the small fruit plate (less than $3) was a light breakfast in and of itself). The rooms are enormous, private, and comfortable. I noticed right away that the linens and bedspread seemed truly clean- NOT the norm at hotels! The staff is friendly, accomodating, and helpful. They...

It was a pleasure to stay at San Agustin. With an English speaker always around the friendly staff was also happy to let us practice Spanish. A front, street facing room was a little noisy in the evenings but not enough to keep us awake. We were there for 9 days and stayed most of our time in the Margarita...

We would have given an excellent review for many reasons, except for the location of our room. We were in a suite in the back above the kitchen. I would recommend that if your stay here, the front section of the hotel is the place to be. Location is terrific, staff very helpful, amenities are all you can ask for...

This is a really nice place as all reviews say. Good large rooms albeit with hard beds. Nice staff and breakfast included if you pay cash. Couldn't be better placed for the zocalo which meant short rests between site seeing was possible. Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and welcomed. The location was perfect for us, as we went to every museum, gallery and cultural event we could. So many concerts are free in Oaxaca. In addition to the zocalo, which is a great place to people watch, there is the alcala, a street blocked off to traffic where there...
