First visit to Oaxaca, and looking forward to exploring this beautiful city. A sudden mobility issue curtailed walking, but the week was wonderful in large part because of the hotel....and STAFF. Most speak good English, accommodated my efforts at Spanish, and were more than generous with their time and attention. The physical plant is exactly what I wanted...not a Canadian...

lovely colonial hotel with nice common areas on the second floor. Very close to the zocalo, juarez market and a variety of restaurants. The rooms are large and very clean. If u pay cash a full b'fast is served. What really makes this hotel is the exceptional service of all the staff. They really go out of their way to...

The hotel is a charming, old building just a block away from the main square, in good location to explore the town on foot. The rooms are facing an innner courtyard where the breakfast is served. Our room had just a small window facing the courtyard, but it did not bother us, we only slept there. The bed was fine,...

I was on the ground floor so there were no windows. I think they really would prefer you pay cash then you get breakfast. However I needed to pay with my card so I had to pay for breakfast. It was served just outside my door. Wish it were a bit earlier but still it was great. Staff was really...

We loved this quiet little hotel which offered great hospitality, comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast only a block from El Zocalo and close to museums, at a very reasonable price. 24 hour staff was very pleasant and helpful .

The hotel is a block from the cathedral so we had no problems with noise -even during new year's eve- and yet we were superbly located. The service was very good and always kind and very helpful. I tend not to have a "breakfast included" fare so I can have breakfast in different places of the city/town I visit, but...

We were 6 women travelers on a philanthropic work trip in Oaxaca visiting local grass-roots non-profits supporting water and women's rights. This small colonial hotel is a gem, only 1 block from the Zócalo. Daily breakfast is included (if room paid in cash) and you order from the menu -- very complete and filling. The staff at the hotel is...

We were very pleased with our seven nights (October 2016) at San Augustin. Its location one block from the Zocolo is ideal and central to many of the sites in Oaxaca. The hotel is a classic colonial building that contains 16 rooms around a covered open air plaza where breakfast is served 8:00-12:00. Our room was spacious with an ensuite...

We stayed for 5 nights at the parador San Agustin, I would love to say it was awesome as it was in a great location and it was very peaceful inside however when we arrived quite late at night the taxi could not drop us off out front and we had to walk a couple of streets to get there...
