Casa de la Tia Tere was a really charming inn with a lovely courtyard, great pool, clean rooms. It's a really good value too considering that our rate included breakfast. The women that we met that ran the place and cooked breakfast were all extremely nice. Breakfasts were nothing fancy, but they will make you eggs if you like. The...

i squeezed in a reservation for the last available room during Day of the Dead celebrations. the hotel was immaculately clean, but the rooms are quite small. the location is about 6-7 blocks from the zocalo and cathedrals. a little out of the way, but very quiet and calm at night. breakfast was fine - fruit, bread, coffee, juice, yogurt,...

Casa de la Tia Tere is immaculately clean, the beds are comfortable and the rooms beautifully decorated. There is a beautiful swimming pool and all the rooms surround a lovely, bright central courtyard. Breakfast is continental as well as the choice of eggs and is much better than many other hotels. But it is the beautiful ladies here who make...

I stayed here 3 nights and was very comfortable. You can help yourself to tea & coffee in the kitchen any time of day. There is a fridge available so guests can store their snacks. The pool was relaxing & the room was decent. There are also 2 computers with internet access. The staff is very friendly & I would...

This hotel exceeded my expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It's a beautiful hotel in a great location, just a 5 minute walk from the Zocalo and in a really safe and smart neighborhood. The hotel has a real family atmosphere and the service provided by the staff was excellent. We looked forward to our breakfast everyday, especially the...

Stayed here for three nights as a base for touring Oaxaca. The hotel is an exceptionally clean oasis and the staff always friendly and helpful. Sights and restaurants are a ten minute walk at most, yet the hotel is quiet at night. As a single traveller I unfortunately had to pay for a king room as the smaller rooms were...

We stayed 2 nights at a highly regarded B&B which unfortunately was full after those nights so we had to move. We looked all over town, probably at 15 different accomodations from modest to luxurious (one of which we stayed at for a night just for fun--about 4 times the cost of Tia Tere) Then we moved on to Casa...

First I would like to say that I found this wonderful hotel by using the reviews on tripadvisor.com. It not only lived up to my expectations, but far exceeded them. A very clean, quiet (except on busy weekends) and well run hotel. The staff are excellent, and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a peaceful, safe...

My friends and I decided to stay here while visiting the town for a wedding. The staff was wonderful to our large group, even making an early breakfast for us on our last day. The hotel is well-kept with a nice courtyard for hanging out during breakfast, a lush pool area for getting some sun, and a secluded balcony/patio for...

Well located, just east of the central pedestrianised area (i.e. quiet but walking distance). Dark central breakfast courtyard, but light, bright rooms with wonderful local furniture. Pleasant poolside and calm reception staff. Would stay here again.
