Nice hotel, good location and friendly reception staff. Breakfast... well, it's a strange way of working in my opinion. If you book intercontinental breakfast you have the right to choose between a juice or some fruit. Some (3 pieces) of bread and some cereals and that's it. Not really enough to start your day. The rest can be asked à...

The hotel is a refurbished historic building in the centre of Oaxaca. The location is ideal for exploring the historic city, located one block from the pedestrian street, Calle Macedonio Alcala. The rooms are clean and comfortable, however they have one important drawback: they have no windows, only a small one in the door. The doors open towards the large...

This is an old historic building and generally refurbishment is good. Good and free wifi. Great location. Pleasant staff. Drawback is that the rooms open from the central area and, barring a couple, have no window. There is obscured glass in the doors to very claustrophobic. No extract fan to the WC/shower makes the room smelly. The AC did not...

We were here over Christmas and had a great stay. Good location, clean rooms, lovely rooftop terrace. Well run but not stuffy. The English of the staff is limited, but I prefer this to the big chain hotels who cater to families with fancy lobbies and expensive room service. Don't stay here for the food. The included breakfast is really...

Good hotel with a great location, close to beautiful churches, touristic places and restaurants. Its an old building, with a/c, free wifi (avg), restaurant and kind employees. On the bad side, the beds are really uncomfortable, cant rest at all.

The hotel location is very good, near the Santo Domingo Temple and just some minutes walking from the main pedestrian street. It'a a beautiful old house that has very well arranged with the very pleasant inner courtyard. The room was big and very clean and water bottles as well as amenities were available every day. Nice simple continental breakfast served...

We just left the Hotel Casa Antigua today after a three day stay. While the hotel looks nice, there were many problems that became the only dark shadow on our entire trip to this amazing city. The air conditioning in the rooms is sub-par, at best, so plan your trip in the winter. The walls are so thin that I...

For the money, the hotel provides a great value. Rooms are spacious with high ceilings are well appointed with a rustic "old" feel without being too cheesy. Everything you'd expect in a hotel - clean room/linens, hot water, AC, and standard amenities. Hotel staff are quite accommodating and can offer offer advice and answer questions but be aware most of...

My wife and I had a fabulous stay at the Casa Antigua. The rooms were well maintained with very modern bathrooms. The staff were friendly and very helpful during our 10 day stay. The desk staff were kind enough to practice spanish with my wife. The location was quiet and within an easy walk to good resturants, museums, cathedrals and...

I traveled to beautiful Oaxaca in June 2016 and stayed at the lovely Casa Antigua. I was very pleased with my choice. The hotel was the perfect blend of traditional and modern. The value for what I paid for the room was exceptional. This is a completely smoke free property, which is a plus for me. I stayed in the...
