The hotel is quiet and quaint. Beds were comfy. It was just what we needed, within walking distance of what we needed. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is perfect. Mayra at the front desk was so helpful arranging drivers for us and making dinner reservations. All the staff was very kind. Thanks!

It's our first time in Oaxaca and this hotel was beyond expected. The rooms are really fancy, with smooth colors. Every single room it's been decorated by a different artist. I really recommend this hotel.

It's a beautiful little hotel with an amazing breakfast . The rooms, towels and bathrooms I wouldn't call them luxury but it is what you can expect from the destination. That is the only reason Why I didn't give them 5 stars. The location is amazing and the service is also very good.

This hotel is among 2 we loved most while traveling through Mexico. Great location just near city center, but not so close and that's why silent. Simple but interesting design of the rooms. Minibar has everything - from mezcal to aspirin - and you'll find a sombero as a gift from the hotel :) Very friendly and helpful staff. On...

Dear guest, Thank you very much for your comments and suggestions! Our guests opinion if of utmost importance to us! As for the breakfast, it comes complimentary with your stay and you can choose from our A la carte menu. On weekends we offer additionally a breakfast buffet with local specialties such as blue-corn-quesadillas freshly made on the comal. Once...

We went to this Hotel on New Years Day for dinner with a group and thoroughly enjoyed the lovely atmosphere. The food and service, however was inconsistent and underwhelming. The portions were inconsistent and in one case, the same dish was presented completely differently. Rib eye tacos were bland, the Octopus portions were minuscule, although tasty, and the salad greens...

We cannot recommend Hotel Azul highly enough. Our family of five visited Oaxaca in December 2017 and stayed for four nights. Hotel Azul is the exactly the type of boutique hotel fans of Tablet, Wallpaper or Monocle would love. The rooms airy with an impeccable ethnic modern feel. The complimentary breakfast (booked through Tablet) is amazing including hand-made blue corn...

We were received with a complimentary shot of good mezcal...a great welcome after a day of travel. Rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is very good. The rooms are a bit 'cave' and the place can be a bit noisy...but overall, it's a good option in Oaxaca.

We were there for los Dias de los muertos. We arrived at 630am. And they were kind enough to give a room to have a shower. Our room was on the ground floor, quite noisy and dark. Given the opportunity choose the first floor and a suite. Breakfast is delicious but I would take it easy on the 7:30 start; more...

While walking on Oaxaca streets, a heavy rain obliged me to seek for cover. So I entered in a hotel named Azul in Abasolo st. It was lunch time and I was starving, so i asked for the resto. What a nice surprise!!! They have a wonderful collection of home made beers and a variety of mezcal brands. I also...
