A very beautiful and welcoming place. The hosts took very good care of me and gave me a lot of good advice. It is not in the centre of Oaxaca but easy to access with taxi. Calm and relaxing. Spacious room and great breakfast. I highly recommend this B&B.

Had a wonderful 5 days at this hotel which surpassed all my expectations. The villa itself is beautiful with a small pool and a garden with hummingbirds flitting around the flowers in the trees. The decor is very Mexican (in a good way) with paintings and pottery and statues giving a very authentic feel. The bedroom was airy and comfortable...

We were two couples staying in Oaxaca for the first time. Since we were in town for Dia de Los Muertos, this location was a reprieve from the hubbub of the fiestas, which we enjoyed and could then escape for a good night's sleep. Villa Oaxaca provided this as well as the most delicious breakfasts! We enjoyed fruit, granola, yogurt,...

If you are visiting Oaxaca for cultural reasons, staying here will add to the flavor. The owners are very hospitable and knowledgable in the area's history. They will help you set up your tour. Breakfast is delish! Fresh juices, coffee, and full breakfast meal, Oaxaca style. Kids' friendly. We were there with 2 little ones and they had great time...

Delightful staying out of the main town and no problem getting to and from the hotel. Rebecca very helpful booking taxis which only took 7 minutes to arrive and approximately 20 minutes into the old town. Would recommend private guide, again booked by Rebecca, who took us to Monte Alban and on to various other points of interest.

This is a hidden gem, outside the downtown area with the comforts of home and more! An awesome home shared openly by gracious hosts with an exceptional knowledge of the area and history. Our day started with a delicious traditional Oaxacan breakfast and ended with relaxing by the pool. There are some great restaurants nearby for dinner. There is transit...

The Villa Oaxaca was a great place for us for eight nights in beautiful Oaxaca. The room was spacious, clean and had its own small terrace. The breakfasts were large. We especially enjoyed all the fresh fruit and juice! Our hosts were extremely accommodating, including getting us at the airport and, one day, taking us to the centro. We also...

We have traveled quite a bit and lived under different circumstances, but never have we tried a 'bed and breakfast' with so much basic human care as at Villa Oaxaca. To begin with: The daughter picked us up in the airport for free ... and so it went on with endless helpfulness. We had a room of imperial dimensions, we...

We found this lovely home and booked for 10 days. Our hosts Juan and Rebeca made us feel like part of the family. Juan was an informative historian who chatted with us every morning. We enjoyed the lovely traditional breakfasts along with fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, coffee and famous Oaxacan hot chocolate. Juanita and Conchita worked their magic in...

One of the best parts of travel is to have a genuine, authentic experience wherever you go. If you are looking for such in Oaxaca, I definitely recommend a stay at Villa Oaxaca! My buddy and I had the pleasure to stay there for 4 nights in October 2015. What a gem! I much prefer staying in a normal neighborhood...
