We stayed one night in this hotel and it was great! The price was $700 MXN for two persons in a room with two matrimonial beds, balcony, TV, big fan and bathroom. The balcony was really cosy and I slept like a rock, so no disturbing noises from the street. The bathroom was new and fresh with hot water! And...

This hotel is located right in the center of the city. It is 20 meters from the central square, zocalo and cathedral. The hotel is basic but very clean and the staff attentive. It helps if you speak a little Spanish. There is no restaurant in the hotel but the zocalo has many with varied menus and prices. You can...

Can't really beat the location around the corner from the Zocalo. The lobby is nicely appointed and the staff are very helpful. I had a room without a window which I liked because it was nice and quiet. The ceiling fan worked fine and helped with any heat or stuffiness. There are rooms with windows overlooking the front street but...

The hotel is adjacent to the Zocalo and 3 blocks from the main market - nearly ideal. The staff is friendly but they speak very little English. Rooms and facilities are basic and very clean; no air but ceiling fans. No restaurant, room service etc. but cafes. restaurants and gelato are right across the street. Rooms size is adequate, not...

The next night was a street window room and I loved it. comfortable comfortable. Also - be prepared for Zocalo activities to keep you up until midnight or a...

My boyfriend and I love the Hotel Real De Antequera. We are returning soon for our fifth time to stay there. The convenience of the location is the main reason that we stay here. The zocolo is only a few steps away, the staff is very pleasant and friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff speaks some...

INITIAL IMPRESSION: The Real de Antequera is literally a 90 second walk away from the zocalo. We had requested an interior room originally, as we had read they were quieter. However, we found the room too small, dark, and boxy, and asked for a room change. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony and a view of the...
