The Hostal de la Noria is located a couple of blocks from the main square (Zocalo). The rooms are clean and well kept. The air-conditioner is very noisy, making clicking sounds in no particular rhythm. Our room was on the street which was busy all night long, not allowing for a sound sleep. It appeared that there was hardly any...

Seems to be only Aussies reviewing! I would rate it as "good". Twin room second floor fine. Nice courtyard. Breakfast good and close to everything. Wifi. My only gripe is what I thought was hard bed/pillow, however minor concern. . Aircon in rooms if needed. Recommended .

Everything Oaxaca is within easy walking distance. There is so much to see and after a day on the streets it is a great feeling to walk into the courtyard and still be part of the local history but so tranquil. The courtyard is a great place for a drink or snack or just to swap notes with fellow tourists. Our room...

with the added attraction of a small swimming pool which seemed deserted except for we 2 New Zealanders. Staff were pleasant, the room was large, there was no safe but coffee making facilities in the room plus a small bowl of sweets & chocolates. The management willingly extended our checkout time to 3pm which made a great difference to a...

This is our second stay at Hostal de la Noria in Oaxaca mx. We love it here. The hotel is in an old, very atmospheric building built around a courtyard with great personality. Other reviews have mentioned small rooms and yes, our room is a little small but the bathroom is huge. Being in this hotel makes one feel like...

We ended up at this place after much comparison of hotels close enough to the Square to be convenient. The hotel has an internal courtyard. Our room had a small window with dirty white curtains looking down the interior second floor hotel. There was little natural light and dim illumination. The room was small and the furniture placed to obstruct...

Hostal de la Noria has a great location, really close to the Zocalo. The rooms are ok but the ones facing the inside are a bit dark - not getting any natural light. On the other hand, being on the inside of the building, they are very quiet and no noise from the street comes in. The rooms are a...

A haven painted pastel yellow and blue around a central courtyard, large rooms, king bed, large bathroom, coffee maker, double doors open to road or courtyard. Rooms onto courtyard would be quieter, rooms by road are noisy. Nice buffet breakfast. Nice sitting areas. Laundry service, free wifi, safe at Reception. A short two block walk to the main square with...

We visited during the Guelegetza, at the night of tourist season, yet were able to score a large, sunny corner room on the second floor complete with two balconies, beautiful carved wood furniture, a desk and table and a large bathroom. The street noise, even at this busy time, was manageable, and a little noise is a small price to...

You can get your food and parking lot at the hotel and it is very quite place with a nice internet signal included. You can also access to cheap tourist pakages (less than 10 dollars) for visiting Monte Alban with a guide...
