Charlotte, North Carolina
Reviewed 27 February 2014

The hotel itself isn't anything special. The room I was in smelled very heavily of smoke and I had to get the housekeeper to come spray airspray a few times. Get a room away from the main road and you won't here the traffic noise 24/7. Other than that, it is in a good location, and relatively cheap ($30USD/Night)

Staying in Azcapotzalco

Neighbourhood Profile
Azcapotzalco
Home of the Tepeneca people, Azcapotzalco has remained faithful to its roots even as time has passed. Beautiful details abound throughout its gardens, houses and other historical buildings such as the Casa de la Cultural. The works of Siqueiros, Diego Rivera and O'Gorman are in abundance and should not be missed while exploring the area. Walk through the streets and have a taste of the neighborhood, which can be found at the bottom of a good cup of coffee or a scoop of an artisanal ice cream to cool down. Once the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than going out to visit classic cantinas to grab a drink where the nostalgia of the beautiful atmosphere comes to life.
