Stayed here for 4 nights, was well located walking distance to the grand square, opera, lots of restaurants within walking distance. Hotel staff friendly, room clean. A very busy city so you have to allow lots of time, as traffic is horrendous.

Hotel is right in the middle of restaurants, plazas and tourist attractions as well as Govt offices if you are there to work. Very lively area where you walk to different places or take public transportation as well.

Well-located hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. We stayed here with our 5 month old daughter prior to moving elsewhere in Mexico for the rest of our trip. Our taxi dumped us on the street in front of the mall where the hotel is situated, telling us there was no other entrance. Because we were travelling with our daughter we...

The location is perfect. Right in the Centro Historico. Right next to a Starbucks and a nice park. There were too much noises in the room I stayed (second floor) but in Mexico there are noises everywhere. The wireless sometimes was good sometimes very slow.

We chose the place based on its location. It has a lot of positives - relative in price, great value. Rooms are simple but clean and spacious. Service is reliable. Restaurant offers breakfast which is very good and a small complimentary bottle of water provided daily is a nice touch. But.... there is the noise problem. For two nights, we...

As individual travelers we stayed 2 nights in room 322. The room was located on the third floor around a kind of inner courtyard. Pros - very good location, near the old center and close to a metro station (Juárez) - a friendly check-in in good English - large rooms with good twin beds and sufficient lamplight in the room,...

I have stayed at this hotel 5 times over the last two years and always find myself rested, and relaxed during my visit to Mexico City. Staff are always smiling, and willing to provide assistance at moments notice. Hotel is centrally located in Mexico City across from Alameda Park. Excellent family hotel!

The hotel is very centrally and conveniently located with very comfortable rooms. Our room looked over the park/square opposite which was fabulous. Everything was well thought through, the breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. All on all we had a very pleasant stay.

Staying in Alameda

Neighbourhood Profile
Alameda
This beautiful park was once the playground for the wealthiest families in the colonial era, and is now the perfect place where locals and visitors can spend a sunny weekend afternoon to relax or shop for souvenirs at the market. Kids can run around or grab a bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander around admiring the charming gardens and the sculptures that adorn it. Once the heat rises, it may be time to visit one of the many cozy restaurants or cafés with its characteristic art nouveau facades to cool down and call it a day.
