This is a tourist class hotel that mainly caters to Mexicans, but if you learn a little Spanish, you can easily enjoy staying here too. The rooms are small but clean and include all the essentials. I particularly appreciated the very effective large ceiling fan that not only kept the room cool at night but also muffled background noise. There... More

I've stayed here twice for a total of ten days. Hotel Dililgencias is well located - 10 minute walk to the Zocalo - and it's right on the Metro bus airport line. The rooms are clean, good showers, friendly staff ( I speak Spanish), and there is a decent restaurant for eating breakfast. The WiFi is weak and the tv... More

The hotel is a bit old but it's clean. When we visited the elevator was not working but other than that everything was as expected. The surroundings were a bit poor but not dangerous. It's very close to the historic downtown. Good and cheap hotel!

I slept at Hotel Diligencia in March 2015. Rooms are small but very clean, mattress was hard, wifi never let me down. Also the place is well located, two minutes from Bella Artes subway station. Right in front of hotel, there's a city bus that brings you direct to Mexico airport in 30 minutes for 30 pesos ($2.50 US). Just... More

The location is not that great, when you get there all you want to do is leave, they insist on showing you the room no commitments and it's actually not bad, make sure your room is on the back so you can get sleep at night, the hotel has no parking lot, it shares a parking lot two blocks away.... I stayed for 2 nights and both nights were a nightmare. During the night guests are allowed to scream and disrupt, and when other guests plea for silence they are laughed at. And if that wasn't bad enough, the hotel has an old system of engines that goes on and off every 10 minutes. So even if you were lucky... More

General info about our trip: 2 people stayed for 12 nights in August/September in a room with a queen-size bed. Rooms: The rooms are small but in this case, you get what you pay for. We were only 2 people in the room so it was a decent size for us. If you have more than 2 people, you might... More

The hotel is conveniently placed to reach the central squares and avenues on foot . The rooms are really old and rather worn-out and so are the bathrooms and the hotel elevator. The noises from the corridors can be heard quite clearly from the rooms. The general atmosphere brings you back to the 60s, especially when you realize that they... More

Located within two kilometers of the Zocalo, Camino Madero and Palacio Bella Artes, Hotel Diligencias is welcoming, clean, stylish and inexpensive. The staff is helpful and friendly (although the restaurant is a little understaffed) and the building's interior is well kept up. Sure the rooms are small, but for the price something has to give and they were sparkling clean.... More

As a female solo traveller I was not overly comfortable walking back from Centro after dark-dont get me wrong I had no issues when I did but just didn't feel comfortable.
