I love traveling and I do a lot of hotel stay. I appreciate a good breakfast and I appreciate that a breakfast is complimentary but this hotel has the poorest breakfast I ever had I was here for 4 nights and could not eat their breakfast It was unhealthy oily thing I used to bring my own bean soup across...

I chose this hotel for a 10 hour layover in Mexico City as it was cheap ($60/night for 2 people, last minute on a Wednesday night) and close to the airport. I had read reviews about the dodgy neighbourhood, so wasn't surprised that the area was a quite shabby. The hotel, from the outside, wasn't anything spectacular so I really...

I have been here three times within less than 3 weeks and this hotel has been really a sort of home in Mexico City. Being on the American continent for trips to different destinations which involved quite different temperatures, I have left in the Doubletree/Crystall a few suitcases, changing the content when I was there. I particularly would like to...

Great clean hotel. Area isn't all that great but I felt secure. Friendly front desk staff. The wifi is spotty. The shower and hot water were great. The room was very clean. I don't really have anything to complain about just that the wife was very spotty and you had to leave your room to connect most of the time.

I looked at diferent hotels near the Mexico City Airport. This hotel came up as one of them. It is NOT close to the airport. It is in a horrible neighborhood an awful and dangerous location. I truly was afraid for our safety. I assumed being a Doubletree by Hilton they would not decieve on the location. It is noisy,...

Typical doubletree experience. However, they were out of their famous "welcome cookie" at checkin. Bed was sufficient. Free internet service worked. Our Jr. Suite had a nice large tv with a very limited selection of channels. Room service worked well. Early (pre-6am) breakfast arrived promptly. However the bacon was inedible and the French toast came with no syrup. Airport shuttle...

Great hotel with a well appointed room. Helpful staff. Was only a fifteen cab ride from the airport. When I told the front desk clerk that I didn't see the shuttle bus at the airport, she said if I had a taxi receipt they would pay me back which they did. Don't think it is in a great area to...

This hotel helped me arrange transportation, a room, and meals for my son and his girlfriend who were stranded penniless at the Mexico City Airport. They let me charge it all to my card from the states. They took excellent care of the kids and provided a level of peace for the parents that cannot be quantified.

“You close the curtains at night but they never completely close in any hotel. Just enough of a crack to let through too much light sometimes. Take a hangar out of the closet. The one that you use for hanging slacks. Use the clips on the hanger to close both curtains together leaving no room for light to come though. (airline crew trick)”
