Great staff! Very kind and helpful. We had our 2.5 year old along and they were incredibly kind with him. Breakfast was huge and they were always willing to make things on request for us. Susanna took great care of us and our room.

We recently stayed at the wonderful Hotel Catedral for 7 nights. We checked in very late on a Monday night but they were expecting us and we had no issues. We were on the 5th floor (we had requested a high floor in order to get a view) and had a pretty skyline view. Our "Matrimonial" room had 2 double...

We chose Hotel Catedral based on ratings and location and both proved to be spot on. While there are surely more "she-she" places to stay, this place met all our needs for a fast-paced, hit all the highpoints visit to Mexico City. It is a very short walk to the main Cathedral, the Zocalo, Templo Major, great restaurants and shopping...

The hotel is located in Centro Historico which is an advantage because of proximity to the central plaza and a disadvantage: I could not get to it by taxi since on occasion of some event all the neighboring streets were blocked. For the same reason it will cost you more by taxi to get there. There are nibbles and fruit...

This was a good place to spend a night on my way to the Yucatan. It is around the corner from the Cathedral -- not literally on the square though. The room was huge, much bigger than I needed, and the bathroom was kind of oddly huge - massive bathtub. The room had a slightly funky smell but nothing horrible....

You can't beat the location of this hotel! Nice, clean rooms, breakfast included with your room, friendly & helpful staff. Close to absolutely everything - staff helpful with suggestions and directions. Great rooftop deck with spectacular views of the historic City. Will be returning to this spot

There are several reasons why we choose Hotel Catedral every year when we visit Mexico City. First of all the service is always above and beyond and second to none! The staff is extraordinarily helpful and friendly! They are always incredibly patient and kind with our very broken Spanish & we always have a lot of fun when we ask...

The Hotel is comfortable but the staff is the best. They go way out of their way to help tourists enjoy themselves w/o worry. An example: We couldn't book a ticket for a bus trip to San Miguel de Allende on the computer. Talked to the desk and they bought the ticket for me and then I reimbursed them in...

My husband and I stayed a total of 5 days spread at the beginning and end of our trip to Mexico. Amazing service, spotlessly clean, great location right off the zócalo and VERY cost effective. Not fancy, but very comfortable. The breakfast is a feast; the chef, Telma, is a real joy. She visited each table to make sure each...

I stayed here five years ago and really appreciated how close it was to the Zocalo and historic center. It was pretty down at the heels, though. Was I ever surprised to walk in this time and found that the place had been renovated top to bottom, including new elevator, plenty of storage space, digital a/c, and every other modern...
