We stayed three nights at the Hotel Marquis Reforma as part of an organized tour. We found our room to be very clean and comfortable. The included buffet breakfast was very good with many offerings. Two pluses are that the room came with two luggage racks and also with wash cloths, which are not always a given in foreign hotels. The hotel is located on a lovely part of Paseo de la Reforma and is a very good area for strolling. Recommended.

I attend an annual conference in Mexico City, usually held at this hotel. The Marquis is a 4 1/2 star hotel, with impeccably-clean rooms, outstanding service (across the board - from the doorman and bellhops, through the front desk and maid service), and great facilities.
Karaoke in the lobby bar at night, with some very talented local singers that appear to be local, and regulars.
Here are two key tips when staying here:
1) When you are in your room, put out the "Do Not Disturb" sign. Your room is cleaned. There's (wonderful) turndown service. The minibar is restocked. There's a plate of fruit set up for you. Your room will be entered a number of times during the day. If you're trying to work, or to nap, this will be interrupted, unless you put out the sign.
2) There is a buffet breakfast, but the better choice is Los Canarios, on the other side of the lobby. The menu is a mix of Mexican and American breakfasts, and the service is really top-notch. This visit, Moseo and Pedro took care of us, recommending a delicious juice blend, serving attentively, and, most importantly, keeping the coffee cups filled. The coffee is excellent, by the way, and the Mexican breakfast dishes are delicious. It's more expensive than the buffet, but well worth it!

Stayed a week in a suite that was spacious with a nice view and luxurious bed. Hotel is well located within walking distance to restaurants and sites as well as the tour buses. Rental bikes in the parkette across the street. Excellent lounge bar with outdoor raised patio and indoor piano bar. Great spot to wait for friends to get ready and relax after a day of touring. Spa has a well appointed locker room with a TV lounge area and the spa area has hot tubs, steam rooms and saunas surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs.
Shout out to the young bellboy who was a friendly face who welcomed us home from our daily adventures and gave us tips for places to visit.

We went to this hotel because of its location, plus it was in our american express rewards program, and I did really expect more than what we got. I must mention that the personnel, concierge, Jose who is a gentleman, the bell boys and housekeeping were nice,I do have to mention that the wifi is really not good at all, it keeps coming and going, as we checked out we were told we had to pay for somethings we had consumed from the mini bar, something we never use anywhere we go, we did put inside some juice bottles and cokes, as well as water we bought at a nearby convenient store. Maybe the mini fridge had a sensor when you moved the bottles, I don.t know, we had to sign a paper stating we had not taken anything from the mini bar. I was amazed that even though it had an expresso machine and things that go with it, you had to pay for every capsule you used, that was a new to me, places I´ve gone offer it as a courtesy . They do have nice amenities like Lóccitane products in the bathroom, which by the way it kind of outdated. Maybe with some modern ideas this hotel could improve as, cheap it is not.

We spent 3 nights here. The location is terrific: close to Chapultepec Park, Fountain of Diana, and with lots of shopping. We were there during their “Day of the 3 Kings” celebration where families gather to share gifts and hot chocolate. For many blocks along the Reforma were dozens of small crafts and food vendors. We opted for an upgrade to a two-room suite. The hotel’s reception staff- Alejando- arranged a beautiful spacious corner suites on the 6th floor overlooking the Reforma. Thank you Alejando. And doorman/bellhop Aldoni escorted us to the suite, showed us everything and even arranged for extra water and a newssheet in English. Every time we left and returned, we were warmly greeted by Aldoni. We had several dinners at the hotel, they have several restaurants. We were very impressed with the attention of the waiters: Diego, Robert and Ivan. And when our friends had questions about the particular “catch of the day” the restaurant Captain Ivan literally presented the fish for inspection. That was impeccable service.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. The service of the staff is top-notch. We had breakfast at both restaurants and left stuffed and so happy both times! Jose Garcia waited on us at A La Parilla and Manuel and Luis Pedro waited on us at Los Canarios. I loved the chilaquiles, nopales enchiladas, and mimosas are a must as well! The concierges Jose Azeros and Antonio were so sweet and helpful with everything! We loved their recommendations and help getting tickets for events in the city. The room was wonderful, they even put relaxing music after cleaning so we could enter our little haven after a long day out exploring. The spa definitely helps assist with relaxation too! Highly recommend!

Very good stay, super helpful crew.
Concierge booked us our covid PCR-RT tests at the hotel, all smoothly done.
Laundy service extraordinarily efficient, if rather expensive, our whole suitcase full of holiday clothes came back to us neatly folded and pressed in less than 24h.
La Parilla crew and restaurant super helpful, friendly and nice. And they make the best breakfast!

My family stayed at the hotel for 6 days and ate at the restaurant for one dinner and nearly every breakfast. Eduardo at the restaurant was so accommodating and nice (try the mamey juice, I'm addicted now!), and Monica at the front desk was so helpful and sweet when we had to extend our stay. Our housekeeper was always there when we were leaving to greet us and would ask to make sure everything was going great. Everyone here is so amazing, not a bad experience to be had. I even asked the concierge for a quick money exchange recommendation and hours later he saw me walking through the lobby and followed through to make sure I found it okay. I'm used to staying at cheaper 3 or 4 star hotels because I honestly can't typically afford it, but the incredible staff here made it worth every dollar.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is nice.
Cons: I wish they had a store that had snacks and items you may have missed when packing. The restaurants are also not that good. We got room service and only took a few bites and couldn’t eat the rest.
Pros: Salvador who is often a host at the spa facilities. He greeted us with mint tea and an essential oil towel over our heads and told us to breath in and out & then introduced us to our massage therapist. After our massages he greeted us with more mint tea and then whisked us the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and more. With each place he took us he gave us an incredible experience no words could express. Cold plunges, deep breathing, massages, essential oils. Warmed our towels, our robes. No detail was spared. I will remember that experience for the rest of my life, to have someone care for you the way he does and you can tell he loves it!! Wow! He said he can only cater to guest the way he did on week days when it’s not busy.
I highly recommend calling and booking time at the spa just for Salvador!

Unfortunately no. They do NOT allow pets. Still love this hotel though!
Sorry — did not use spa
We had a spacious and beautiful two-room suite overlooking Ave Reforma. It had two bathrooms---one full, the other half. We were VERY pleased.
As mentioned above, you must have a key card to access elevator. Guests? I guess so.
