Oh, did we love this hotel. The service was gracious, honest and friendly. I speak a little Spanish but it was still nice to have ease of communication with English speaking hotel staff. We stayed on the 36th floor with an amazing view of the city. Our room had complimentary

This Hyatt is situated in a terrific part of town with access to a five minute walk from all the great bars and restaurants of Polanco. If you have access to the Grand Club and have status they have a nice cocktail hour in the evening although breakfast is so-so compared to

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Hyatt Regency Mexico City. We are really glad that you took advantage of our Regency Club Lounge. Indeed, one of the best benefits for our most loyal guests, Globalists Members, is the upgrade to Regency Club Rooms and all of its benefits, including an extended schedule of open bar. Regarding our breakfast, as most of Hyatt Regency Hotels, we offer a continental breakfast buffet – during the past 2 years, we have been enriching it with different hot plates, chilaquiles station and options for different diets, like vegetarian plates, gluten-free bread, and energetic yogurts based on our guest suggestions. We truly regret that you're leaving Mexico City with such a bad impression from one of our suggested tour guides services. The tour guides whom we work with for private tours, even when they are not part of the hotel staff, have been selected and trained to follow Hyatt’s main purpose: Take care of our guests. Therefore, it is necessary that they adhere to the values of the brand and meet certain requirements. Each of them is certified as tourist guides by the Secretariat of Tourism every year. It is true, that at Mexico City, there are many tour agencies that provide their services to different points of interest and there can be a difference between prices. This depends on the guests' preferences. Please be sure, that both Hyatt Regency staff and service providers are committed to understand, suggest and give a number of options and alternatives according to our guest requests, and overall to take good care of them. We hope you come back soon and allow us to serve you with the level of quality we consistently provide to all our guests. Thierry Guillot General Manager Hyatt Regency Mexico City

Very well located in Polanco, just next to the parc of Chapultepec. It is just the standard Hyatt Regency, not new, but well-appointed and maintained. Breakfast under the standards for Hyatt, the breakfast room in the noisy lobby lounge, so if you have a business meeting not the

The Polanco neighborhood is very safe. We, two women, felt comfortable walking throughout the area during the day and evening. The hotel food was very good, although we didn’t eat in their restaurants. The neighborhood food was fabulous. In fact, we did a Polanco food walking tour which was wonderful and introduced us to a couple restaurants we returned to later. The location of the Hyatt is perfect for access to Chapultepec Park which is beautiful and full of diverse museums. One caveat, like any city in the world, does have some risks. It is worth doing a bit of research and being cautious. However, this was our third trip to Mexico City and I would happily return again and again. There is so much to see and do, it would take years to see it all.

Its a big city but relatively easy to get around. The open top bus stops just opposite at the National Stadium and you can hop on and off at various sites. We spent about 8 hours taking two open top bus tours one to the centre of the city and met the other to go to the site of our lady of Guadalupe then returned. We took time at the archeological Myan site and stopped for lunch. The local bus route also runs past this hotel. Its within walking distance, again only across the road to the park and museums. The hotel itself has a great gym and indoor pool if your teenagers are interested in keeping fit and the local restaurants in this vicinity are geared for a variety of ages as there is a university nearby. Any taxi's I would suggest should be ordered from your hotel, not in the street. Hope this helps.

I arrived early week day afternoon and booked a viator car transport. They were wonderful and met me with a sign upon exiting. It took 45 minutes to the hotel and traffic was amazingly light for Mexico City. I would say an hour plus at most other times from the airport.

A good location to get around rfom because its outside the main traffic blackspot, but still close enough to walk to the shopping area, Right next to the Anthropology museum which is amazing! Gresty restaurants on site... and the taco's in the bar area, wow.
