Absolutely recommended! The hotel is very conveniently located, in the historical centre of the Mexico City (200mt from metro zocalo) Staff are very friendly and helpful. Just notice that some rooms (supposedly the less expensive ones) are very small and "blind" i.e. without windows (just one small window in the inner corridor), and yet comfortable. Breakfast is variated and satisfactory....

I travelled professionally for 15 years. This is definitely one of the best properties that I have visited. My poor Spanish was not a problem & they were 100% helpful. Also, the location is wonderful.

The staff are friendly and welcoming and the rooms are very nice and clean with a massive bed and coffee maker. One thing to watch out for though is whether your room has a window. Apparently only the Suites have windows. There is however a pretend window/light well with a large mirror and curtains. At first we thought this was...

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of December, 2014. The staff was very helpful. All front desk agents and concierges speak English! Santiago exceeded our expectations by finding us different type of room that we needed at the time of check-in. Concierge Martin was supreme in service!!! Breakfast was great. Location was excellent as we wanted to stay...

The location, two blocks from the Zocalo and Catedral, is great. The room was subpar at best. Very small, NO WINDOWS, dribbling shower. The breakfast was mediocre. No concierge to speak of, though the staff was helpful if you asked them to contact someone about a trip or tour. You must decide between a great location and a nice room.

This hotel was an ideal location for exploring the Zocalo and some of the great Mezcal bars in the other direction. Only 2 downsides, breakfast was so-so, with the typical scrambled eggs and cereal. The other issue is that the doors shut really loudly. Otherwise hotel is on the newish side, very clean, and has a great shower, after those...

A good hotel in a great location with everything you need in a city centre location. The only mixed blessing was that our room had an obscured glass light well window but this meant a very quiet stay in a hotel in a busy location.
