We stayed here in 2010 and when we were finally able to return to Guanajuato, our first step was to book our room here. Villa Sueno Azul is an exceedingly pleasant, tranquil oasis a short walk from the city center. Malinali, the property manager, was very helpful with making arrangements and providing local advice. Our room was comfortable and extremely...

Terrific place in a great location - short walk to the GTO centro - nice little restaurant across the street too. Molli was a terrific hostess and made sure every little detail was perfect - includuding the yummy breakfasts with fresh fruit and fresh pan dulche assortment everyday!

We really enjoyed staying at Villa Sueno Azul during a four-day trip to Guanajuato in July. The location is perfect: a short, flat walk away from the center of town. We stayed in Gladiola, a nice room with its own interior terrace. Mali was very helpful in recommending restaurants, cantinas, and things to do. The fresh fruit and pastries each...

One of the things that's hard to tell from far away is that the hotels in Guanajuato are in all different parts of the city. I personally was very happy with this place, because it's on a relatively quiet street, and the neighborhood is really comfortable for walking. The people who run it are really attentive, no problems at all....

From the moment we walked in, we knew it was going to be a wonderful experience. Mali was there with beautiful smile to welcome us. She made us feel very welcomed and assured if there was anything we needed, she would be available to assist. And available with information and assistance she was...even calling a taxi for us. Sue no...

Thank you very much for your nice comments, my husband and I (owners) have worked very hard to create a culture of service in our small B & B. We are very lucky that both Mali and Lidia understand the importance of making our guests feel at home in a clean and comfortable environment.

I'm writing this sitting on our private balcony overlooking the breakfast courtyard and indoor lounge. We've had a great night in the excellent king-size bed and a pleasant continental breakfast (cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, pan dulce). The inn is not right in the center of town, but certainly close enough to get there by an easy walk or taxi...

We stayed here and I highly recommend it. The facilities are great and the staff wonderful. It is centrally located and therefore easy to access the main downtown area. Breakfasts are included and wifi works well. Our room was quiet and comfortable with its own on suite.

My plan was to stay at Villa Sueno Azul for two days. But as soon as I saw the Villa and met Mali and Lidia I extended my stay to two months. Mali is always offering and willing to help. She knows everyone and everything in Guanajaunto. Lidia keeps the Villa running smoothly and spotlessly clean. The Villa was designed...

We spent 6 nights in the Azalia room on the main floor. We found the location of the B&B a very easy walk to Centro Guanajuato and most sights we wanted to see. Mali and staff were extremely accommodating, from providing directions, recommending restaurants, arranging taxis etc. We have already mentioned this B&B to friends that may travel to Guanajuato...

We stayed for two nights at Gladiola. The past reviews are accurate. Guanajuato centro is quite noisy and cramped. This B&B is at least 10 min. walk from Teatro Juarez, and 20 min. from Museo Diego Rivera. However, you will feel peaceful and relaxing at your own private terrace after a busy day out. The common terrace is also very...
