Great hotel with lovely rooms. The room we stayed in for a couple of nights had a huge kingsize bed, lovely balcony with views of the town, a lovely bathroom with a great shower, a tv and free wifi. Value for money and the hotel even has a very nice terrace on top where one can sit and relax which... More

Stayed here for 1 night. I used to live in Guanajuato and have visited over 20 times. This is a great place. Fits the style of the city well. Good price. This is not great for people who don't speak english or who want all the creature comforts of the USA, per se. Great if you're looking for a place... More

My gf and I are staying in guanajuato for 2 days and folliwed the recommendation of our hotel clerk. We had an onion soup and a veggy salad. Onion soup was superb and salad ok (well guys veggy salad - what can u expect!?).. Staff was friendly and prices really good. Defo recommendation!

I stayed one night and the room was adequate. Be aware that the rooms offer virtually no privacy as they have windows opening to the small reception area. The smaller, least expensive room, had no windows other than the ones to the common area. The larger rooms have balconies with great views. There was loud music and partying in the... More

A friend and I stayed there last week and it we really enjoyed our stay except that when we arrived in Mexico city I realized that a few items of my clothing had been STOLEN! Among those items were two of my favourite and (expensive) jackets! These items were not left behind because we double checked the room before we... More

First, the negatives: Be aware that there are 34 steps up from street level to the front entry. This is not a good hotel for people with walking difficulties. My first impression of our room at the Hospedería del Truco 7 was some disappointment; the room looks attractive, but seems smaller than in their website photos. Either because of the... More

Stayed one night in this hotel. The room was charming and decorated with taste. The bathroom was spotless and the colorful tiles give a colonial touch to the place. The bed was ultra-comfortable and the included breakfast superb (it is served in a nearby restaurant with the same name as the hotel). Internet was included in the price.

The hotel´s website made the rooms look amazing and the balcony even better, we thought it would be a lovely place to stay. We got there and it was a decent place, clean but not worth $70 a night. It was a good location near the main plaza but when we were there half of the balcony was blocked off... More

The correspondence with the Truco 7 Hospederia via e-mail before our arrival was very cordial and amiable. The website showed charming, well cared for rooms. When we got there we were a little disappointed. There was nothing really wrong. Compared to other places that I have stayed in Mexico, it seemed a little expensive for the room. This is the...
