My husband & I, along with another couple, were fabulously lucky to find ourselves staying at this B&B. We were welcomed into George & Gabrielle's renovated and well appointed home with open arms. We were "home" for 3 days and that's exactly how it felt! The home is invitingly warm with beautiful Mexican furnishings. The rooms are spacious and wrap...

Wife and I went with our dear friends on this little "Road Trip". The trip started with getting some 3rd row seats to the Santana/Journey Concert...But, when our friend suggested we take a look at Casa Venezuela...it became much more. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Casa, and after a day of touring the City, looked forward to the...

This was our first time staying at Casa Venezuela but it certainly won't be our last! The house is beautiful, well maintained, and very artfully decorated. Our room was lovely with the most comfortable bed and the extra touches of bathrobes and bottled water in the bathroom made it just that much better. George is a gracious host who went...

I stayed here for five nights and it was outstanding. Casa Venezuela is a wonderful house, beautifully furnished and absolutely welcoming. George is a marvellous host and such a kind man. He made me feel at home instantly and I was welcomed with fresh coffee and a fruit platter. My room was beautifully prepared and filled with thoughtful extras such...

This is my third visit to Casa Venezuela, and it was every bit as memorable as the first two. George is an outstanding and wonderful host; Francisco cooks up a mean breakfast and keeps the place spotless; and you never know what other fascinating guests you're going to meet there. The neighborhood has really grown in the past few years,...

We had 5 wonderful nights in this gorgeous house filled with local art and decorations in the rooms, dining, and courtyard. It is in a central location within good walking distance to local eateries and downtown, and in a nice neighbourhood where we felt safe out and about exploring day and night. George was a perfect host with lots of...

An elegant home away from home, drenched in Mexican folk art. Superb location in Colonia Americana, intimate surroundings (only 3 guestrooms), gorgeous breakfast by Francisco that fulfilled our every whim. Most memorable, and unique, was George, whose superb taste in the decorative arts and 20 years in the hotel business infuse the home and the overall experience with a level...

Casa Venezuela is the perfect, affordable place to stay when you visit guadalajara. Each room has its own mexican decor, comfortable beds and pillows and each has its own bathroom! George and Gabrielle could not be more helpful. George's english and gabrielle's spanish got us in and out of many situations. It was like having our own personal tour guide....

I visited the Casa Venezuela during a 5 day vacation to Guadalajara. As a first time traveler to Mexico I wasn't sure what to expect, and the Casa Venezuela served as an excellent home base to rest from the day's adventures and plan the next day. The owner, George, was able to give us excellent directions and tips for traveling...

“Personally, I prefer the "front room" which is the only room (I believe) with a king-sized bed. You feel like you have your own separate apartment, yet you're still connected to the B&B.”
