From the first moment, we were comfortable at Hotel Morales. The staff were all courteous, helpful, friendly. The piano bar and musicians playing live in the lobby delighted us - contributing to a great ambiance by the lobby fountain and restaurant. A very comfortable place to return to after a long day. The pool was heavenly; rooms clean and spacious...

We stayed there three nights in March, 2014. We enjoyed it. The staff was courteous and efficient. The concierge helped us with bus tickets to Barra La Navidad and tips on places to eat and drink, as well as some sightseeing options. The room was spacious and comfortable. We only needed the air conditioner a little bit, but it worked...

Great location, beautiful ambiance with rich colors and furnishings. The rooms are very lovely and comfortable. Do not miss two things: 1) breakfast in the downstairs restaurant, excellent fruit, yogurt, granola and coffee, and 2) the rooftop swimming pool was divine.

I want to corroborate the other reviews - the Morales is a gem, gorgeous in every way, with a genuine colonial decor, an outstanding staff that provides excellent customer service. It has a fabulous location - close to many accessible restaurants, and all major sites - and a great restaurant of its own, El Ruedo. We stayed March 20-24 and...
