The location sounded great and price was good; however, the City is building a light train and the street for accessing the hotel is closed so you have to take your luggage from the taxi to the hotel by yourself for about 100 m which is not that much unless it's raining. Beds were suppouse to be double beds but I found them a little smaller than the standard double bed size. Room is really tiny, with very few space to place clothing or other stuff. Hence, I think it is fine if you are planning to stay for only a couple of nights and you are not a family of three or four. Towels need un upgrade (hand towels are supposed to be white) and Wi-fi was really, really slow.

I arrived at the hotel on Tuesday morning at 7am expecting that I would have to leave my bags and use my room when it is ready. It was a quiet week in town and the room was ready. They let me check in early. Was very happy until they mentioned that they would have to charge me half of the daily room rate for an early check in. I did it anyway because it was worth it to have the room early. But that was the first time I had experienced a charge for that. I am planning on checking out on Friday at 4:30am but they didn't offer to reduce my rate because of my early check out.

Great location for art, architecture etc but very few restaurants nearby, just one pharmacy, no tienditas. Apart from in rooms facing square windows dont open so very stuffy. The others noisy! Clean. Good breakfast, bus station 30 min away $120 pesos. Cheap hotel.

hotel was falsely advertising. When we saw a photo it was the ideal place to stay. However, when we arrived it looked as if we were staying in a hostel. It was overpriced and room was tiny the size of a shoe box. Definitely not a place that I would recommend. I would tell people to stay in Double Tree by hilton right next door. They charged 80 per night but in reality, it was worth 15-20 per night. Breakfast was horrible. Food was poisonous- we got sick to our stomach and could not keep breakfast down. What kind of place are you running. Would never come back or ever recommend anyone that is looking for a place to say.

I will never stay here again!
The only good thing about the hotel is the location, but other than that it is horrific.

The entrance to the hotel is hardly noticeable because the entrance is in between a along line of shops. I almost didn't see the entrance!
You can't get in front of the hotel by taxi, because the hotel is on a pedestrian street. And this street is closed on Sundays, so be careful while booking your return trip.

We had a VERY UNFRIENDLY and DULL welcome from the receptionist. She just wanted us to pay our stay and didn't wont to work or do anything else.

We got room 333, which is quite far from the elevator, there is a lot of walking. You have to use a card for the elevator, and if there are a lot of guests in the hotel you will have a long wait for the elevator.

The pillowcase and bedspread were stained form previous guests when we arrived.

The window in the room can not be opened.

There is no safe deposit box.

There is no refrigerator.

The hallway smells of glue, it is very disturbing.

The hair dryer in the bathroom does not work.

And lets not forget about the breakfast! There is only jam and butter, because all the other choices of food are Mexican cuisine. Even the scrambled eggs are ruined with Mexican mixes.

Stay away from this place!
They delivered the room late and the ladies at the desk didn't seem to care at all. Then when we finally got the room it wasn't clean, the only thing they did was the bed and the towels but there was hair and nails on the floor and to top it off when we turned the AC on it had a terrible smell. We ended up sleeping with it off! The only good thing about it was the guy who helped us with the bags, he was extra nice, I wish I could remember his name.

Wonderful location but our room and the hallway lacked basic cleanliness. There was no remote control, no shampoo, and the breakfast options were all cold. Yhe business area consists of 2 outdated computers with no printer.

I appreciated later check out time of 12pm

Great hotel priced very reasonably. It’s in the heart of Guadalajara. Access to everything. Only one complaint: The breakfast was just ok. Would like more breakfast options / better taste. Despite that, I would still stay here and recommend

This morning my GF and woke up with red sores in our legs, first I thought it might have been from mosquito bites. Upon returning from a long beautiful day enjoying the town and before going out to La Chata (which I highly recomend if you are staying the historic district). My GF noticed a small Bug on the sheet where she was laying on the bed. I looked around discovered another one. I contacted reception and they promptly sent up a maintanice person who verified the infestation.
He offered us a room on a higher floor with a balcony. I told him I was not interested. I called reception and advised them I was checking out. Also all of this conversation was in Spanish. I asked reception for a refund for they night. Initially they refused when speaking to them on the phone. By now it's 9:00 PM and we head down to reception. After refusing in person not to pay for The second night, and phisically showing them the quarter sized bites. They did not charge me for the second night. Now some more about The Hotel. It is very secure as it should be since The downtown centro histórico can be very dangerous after dark, many drug addicts And vagrants. In the day time it is very safe due to police being everywhere. Another thing about the rooms, they are very small and all furnishings are from IKEA. The breakfast is included in the price of the room and it was OK. Oh last thing the receptionist kept trying to tell me that infestation was just in the room I was staying. If you know anything about Bed Bugs they have a tendency of infesting entire hotels. Please Beware before staying at The One Hotel 5th of may 2014 checking out at 9:00pm on The 6th of May 2014.

Im renting a car. Do you offer parking?
Answer from Guillermo G
Guadalajara, Mexico
Dear Miss Gysell: From the airport we are 25 minutes away, it may be less depending on the traffic. You may take a taxi from de airport and it will charge you around $350 pesos that is around $25 USD. There is also a Company called ¨ShuttleGDL¨ that has vans in the airport that may charge you a little less. We are working on providing this service with a very acceptable price. As soon as we have this arrange we will let you know. I´m at your service at (33) 39424350 Have an excellent day
